What MADE your day today?

I was supposed to meet up with friends this evening for a few drinks, but one found out that a sports bar nearby was having live music we all changed plans in a snap.  Been so long since I was at a concert or anywhere with live music, I wasn't going to pass it up.

They have a very large outside patio and the band had set up next to it with their own tent.  We tried to get there early as possible so we could be under the patio roof because it has heating vents that hang over the bar area.  Found out we didnt need to show up that early because there was only half the people there than what we expected.

When the music started that's when people started really showing up.  It was a little upsetting that maybe half the people were wearing masks but to be honest I kind of expected it.  I kept mine on unless I was actually drinking.  The band was pretty good, and we were able to request a few songs.  They mostly played a lot of classic rock.

The only bad part was when this one guy wouldn't stop trying to dance with us.  He didn't target any one of us specifically, but he was getting way to handsie for our liking. My friend/co-worker Kim, who is bisexual, was there, so we decided to act like we were a couple and started just dancing with each other. Slower ballets we held each other closed and that's when she kissed me.  I kissed her back and before I knew it, she had her arms wrapped around me and my fingers were in her hair.  We were kissing so hard my.lips almost hurt.  Just kidding, that last part never happened, but I couldn't help myself. The problem with that guy is true, and it wasnt until the band actually called him out that he left us alone.

Despite that one guy, had an excellent time.

Glad to read that people are finally going out and having some fun.  We can have fun and still be safe with masks and social distancing.  WOO!

So apparently some have missed that I was teasing you. I forget that when something sexual is said, a man's brain seems to fizzle out and then they can't focus or think right.  So let me clear something up, edit the original post, and hopefully you wont miss it this time.

I had a very satisfying win in court today. It is unusual to take a criminal case to trial. It is even more unusual to win a criminal case in trial. Because typically people are accused of crimes they actually committed. But there were problems with the state’s case. I had spoken for over six months with the prosecutor about dismissing the charges or reducing them. To no avail. So we showed up, ready to go, and the judge granted my motion for directed verdict, and kind of chewed out the prosecutor for tampering with some exhibits.  I’m horny now.

Went to the store a few blocks from us. It's near our local gas station that was burned last summer in the rioting and looting.
They've been working last few months building a new and bigger station. I've been worried about it since the latest unrest.

Tonight when I drove by there were several National Guard troops on site with a couple police cars across the street.
Nice to see the city is being protected before the fact.

Dan still has symptoms, but he feels and looks so much better than he was on Tuesday or was it Wednesday.  I'm lost.

But I did get a solid 8 hours sleep last night.  And I made the best quacamole ever this morning.   

Went for a 6 mile walk with my friend Barb (no, not missB).  Barb has a new man in her life that I heard all about.  She hasn't had sex in a few years until a week ago and she is loving life right now.

Haven't gotten tested yet.   He still has slight symptoms, so no reason to.  Maybe Tuesday.



My new thing, push ups.   So far today I've done 400 push ups.  Not all at once.  20 here, 20 there, and so on through out the day.  The first 10 are done properly, the next 10 on my knees.  Hoping to get them all properly.   Goal is 100 without a break.   Hopefully in 30 days.  My chest will be killing me tomorrow.  Dan said to chill and not go full throttle out of the gate.   But that's how I roll.
