Day 9... Slept in until 9:00.   Then sat by the pool all day and just relaxed with a couple of friends.   Weather was phenomenal.

Day 10. Wet and windy... gale force winds at present... spent day quite lazily without venturing outside the door... Spent time on computer and doubtless will ned up watching TV soon...

Added another chapter to a story on KB...

Looking for a better day tomorrow...

Day#11 ~ Although my day is far from over, I'm happy to be going home from work, it's been a long day and after a lack of sleep last night my bed is again what I'm looking forward too, this time without the dreams I had.

Day 10 - A scratch.  Nothing good.

Day 11 - An employee and his wife had twins over the weekend.    After he gave me a cigar, I congratulated him and then asked him what the F he was doing at work and told him to get his ass home.   Very happy for them both.

Day 9 Aug 9: Out of work early and spent day with family

Day 10 Aug 10: Cheap drum set for the kids

Day 11 Aug 11: Able to get an inspection system repeating to hard gage

Day 11. Not sure if I've said but I'm down to a single crutch now. Managed to walk a little further today and have a spell on the exercise bike (within the minimal constraints of my physiotherapist). Heard from a friend who had apparently gone missing but found out he hadn't - but his Internet had!

Weather much improved and am generally feeling a whole lot more positive today and looking forward to a further improvement tomorrow...

Day 12 ....after a very long drive through flooded Detroit, finally made it home and had a fantastic dinner with Lin and my sis-in-law and her boyfriend at a fabulous steak house.  Best dinner in a while and the 4 of us had a very fun relaxing time.

Day 12 : wife's birthday and I was able to get out of work a little early

Day 13: .20cents off per gallon of gas, and I was running low.

Day 12: Spent lovely day with friends, plenty of laughter, good food and just a little drink.

Day was even better with a lovely woo from Staci who dares me to run the 100yds hurdles - ha,ha! Some hopes! I can manage the 10 yards hop step and fall flat on my face if that's any good?

Day 13
A neighbor brought me a homemade Peach Pie.  It was so good.  I think all of our neighbors and friends are worried Lin and I are starving.

Day 14 - Finished a book at lunch today and began the final book in the series. 
I've always felt a sense of accomplishment whenever I finish a book.   I had difficulty reading/comprehending all through college.  So much difficulty that, out of frustration, I wouldn't read any books.  I started reading again in my early 30's.
