62... (yesterday)   Went for a walk with Lin after dinner.   We could hear the ice cream truck going through our subdivision.   The anticipation of ice cream and the sound of that ice cream truck music had her in a delirious tizzy.    It was fun to watch.   It was about 5 minutes before the truck made it to the street we were on.   Could she wait for it to traverse the length of the street to us???   No.  We had to run to it, with her pulling my hand and yelling to run faster, even though the truck had no where to go except down the street to us.    She had an Orange Push-up.   I had a Strawberry Crunch.   
When did ice cream truck drivers start looking so scary?

Day 60... wife spent nearly three hours with an optician... the service was slow, running late and there was a problem with her eye test which meant she had to go through the whole procedure again... Just got out and beat the parking attendant to our car else there have been a hefty fine...

Relaxing at home in my chair, feet up, watching the Tigers.   Lin was excited by the game also  and is wearing Michelles Tiger hat and for some reason a grass skirt? ? ? She explained it's her Tiger cheerleading outfit.  She's not doing too much cheering....she's bored already and is coloring.

66 (Sunday)... a fun time spent with friends/family.   Even though we were at the Lions game (they lost), then walked across the street for the Tigers ALDS game (they lost).

67... Lin's first day of Kindergarten.  Finally!   She was so happy.   I was able to go in with her and get pictures of her and her new teacher.   I know I'm an old at 49, but her teacher can't be a day over 25.   Kind of caught me off guard when I first met her.

Days 64 and 65 were both celebrations... both for our wedding anniversary... the first day was spoilt by bad weather and an accident on the motorway that meant missing our special meal... the second day we celebrated again - properly this time with a meal with our family...
