Though, it happened in day 4, it carried over to this morning - and every other day going forward.   
Michelle had a favorite pair of earrings.   Last fall, she lost one and had no idea where.   Going through an Arby's drive-thru last night, I accidentally dropped my credit card between my passenger seat and the console.   When I got home, I moved the seat all the way forward and found, not only my credit card, but also the lost earring.   
Lin suggested that I hang it from my rear view mirror.   What a great idea it was.   
It was a very nice thing to come out to this morning when leaving for work.

Day 5... started well after good nights sleep... then at lunchtime learned of the death of my dear friend Jacky's sister... Day 5 went downhill after that... but Jacky is strong and pulled me back to a happier more positive level... may tomorrow be better and return to happier days...

Day 6, yesterday 8/6 -    This was a tough one.   Pretty uneventful day at work.    But then I arrived home and discovered someone had mowed my lawn.   It was a very nice surprise.   I've been putting it off and was going to do it this weekend, but it was getting kind of gnarly.   Was unable to discover which of my neighbors cut it, so I still owe a thank you to someone.

Day#7 ~ A few things today for me....food porn even if it wasn't too yummy, new business after some clever marketing and knowing my poetry had an effect on someone even though sad, makes me happy.

Day 7 - piggy back on Eric's good work news the other day.      Had a customer come in about 4 o'clock yesterday.   I haven't dealt with in over a year.   Placed a huge order that will keep us busy for the next 2 months.  Very happy.

Day 8... visited my physiotherapist who is pleased with my progress... Am still on crutches but soon will reduce to just one... but given go-ahead to use my exercise bike - lowest setting and for one and a half minutes only... well that's a start anyway...

Feel really good and very positive after a period of serious depression due to pain and immobility...  ;D Getting happier now and looking like we'll manage to get away on holiday soon - not like the first one which we had to cancel...

Good to hear Vinney.    Continual improvement is great news.

Day 8 - I haven't really given a shit about food lately.   Frozen dinners, fast food or homemade sandwiches is what I've brought to work for my lunches these past couple of months.
Well today, a co-worker wanted to try a new rib joint.   Holy bejeezus was it ever good.   I haven't had ribs in about a year.

Day #8 - Surprise visit by daughter and baby. No matter how terrible my body feels, when he comes up to me and puts out his hands and smiles to be picked up, all the pain is forgotten.  Until they leave, then the pain returns.

Day 9... Round daughter's for afternoon  and evening... lovely time ... even watched some football (soccer) rugby league and cricket... An easy day rounded off with a nice Chinese meal...
