Waking up this morning and feeling the best I've felt in 8 days.  I woke up this morning with energy
Mark has already warned me to take it easy and not over do it.  So I'll shower and get back in my pj's this morning and enjoy the day with him, my niece, and his daughters.  The oldest who came home from college to help her dad care for me.  I'm going to miss her, but her spring break is in a couple of weeks.  Waiting for them all to get home from church and then I'll be cherishing the rest of the day with her.

Have a nice day everybody.

Glad there’s a turn for the better Jules.  And, good idea to relax still and not push it.

Felt good enough to come to work (that's the 'made my day' part), much to the displeasure of Mark.

One hour in and I'm second guessing my decision. My battery died fast this morning.  Need a nap and recharge.

For you MJ, I will recharge your batteries anytime.  8)

You made my day by being healthy enough to make it back. Way to go!

Thank you Rick.  I got yelled at by Mark for coming in.  But I'm doing fine.  A nice long 2-1/2 hour nap at lunch helped.

I'm exhibiting my art at the same time when there's a massive festival in my town, and got a nice newspaper article as well.

I'm on my second snow day in a row, after about 12 years without one!

Woke up to about six inches of snow yesterday morning, got a text from the boss just as I opened the door to set off; shut for the day.

Walk out on the common, tramping around in virgin snow that sometimes came up to my knees.  No sign of a thaw, got a text last night that we were closing for a second day.  The weather is borderline for a totally unprecedented third day of closure.

Tulips are not blooming but they are about 4 inches up out of the ground, a sure sign Spring and warmer weather is near. Magnolia tree is budding, a month sooner then usual.

Didn’t go to work today.  Worked in the garden, played with the puppy, cooked some charros, and fucked wifey.  Having a Scotch, and maybe some seconds.

A great weekend.  Mark's daughter came home for Spring Break, which was a nice surprise because I thought it was next weekend.  Duh.  She walked in Saturday morning and I was so shocked.  She spent most of the day yesterday at her mom's house, but spent today with Mark, my niece and I.  A little chilly but we still had a lot of fun together with a nice lunch and a wonderful dinner.   Poor kid, her friends all went to Florida but she decided to save the money to save for a car.  :(

The really good news is she will be living here after college lets out in May.   We're fixing up a room in the basement.  So happy and I can't wait.

Ooooooh the basement. Every college kids dream place to live.  :D

My college girls live upstairs where it's warm and there's easy access to oxygen.  ;D

hahaha, true.   There was a spare room upstairs, but it was across the hall from mine.   She wasn't too keen on being that close to her dad.  Especially now that she's been dating someone for a few months.
And the basement is actually pretty nice.  A college kid with a fully stocked bar directly outside her room.  What more could she ask for.

Mark and I saw the touring Les Misérables tonight in Detroit.  It was a Christmas present from him.   4th row center.   I was wide eyed the entire time.   It made my month.

The clock in my car has been wrong for the last 6 months.   I woke up this morning and it's right again.  :)
