Going exploring on Saturday.
I got permission from the new owners of an abandoned horse farm to poke through the barns and take what ever I wanted.
I don't expect much but the idea of being able to creep and crawl around a farm that has been abandoned for over 125 years is to good to pass up.

Sounds like a fun archeological expedition.

I'd like to find some old bits. (for those that aren't horsey crazy "Bits" are the steel that goes in the mouth of the horse, in the 1800's those bits could be very ornate or very plain).

An email from a friend I have not heard from in a while.   Also, a coworker brought in drinks from the coffee shop.   She knows I enjoy a Caramel Latte on occasion and this one was spectacularly delicious.

Earlier in the week up to 12 inches of snow was predicted for Minneapolis.  As the week progressed the storm kept moving south and the predicted inches lowered to only 3 to five inches as of last nights prediction.  Looked out the window at 5:30 when I woke up...not of fucking flake!  Woo Hoo!

Just south of us high winds and 8 to 12 inches of snow.  We may still get a few inches.  Big whoop.  It's that time of year when I declare, "If God put it there, God can take it away.

Yes, I hate to shovel.

Spending the day with my sisters wife. Took her to get a check up for the baby.

Our contractual obligations to our cell phone provider has ended. Made a phone call and made a change in our plan and ended up saving $40.00/month. From our perspective, we lose nothing in terms of what is provided to us as we are not heavy users of the devices and we gain 1 GB of data usage.

The CFO is quite happy that we don't have to change providers. And we are saving money.

That is all.
