Registering my son to vote.  It will be his first time to cast a ballot.

I'm voting Trump.

Doctor's appointment went great.  :D

I'm not better, but I'm not worse. And my wife's ego got inflated even bigger when she was told her efforts to care for me have made a big difference.

"I'm doing a great job taking care of my white girl."

Got a call from my friend.   She's skipping out of work, she told them she's not feeling good (she fibbed).   Guess I'll do the same.   She's stopping at a Redbox and we are going to crash on her couch and watch movies this afternoon as we play hookey.

Redbox? Those still exist?

I was inspired to write today. I've had a touch of writers block for a while and was kind of bummed about that, but when inspiration strikes it's like magic. If anyone wants to read it just click the link. ;)

I left work yesterday before noon.    Was at my friends laying on the couch together watching movies.   I fell asleep for an hour.    She put another movie in, I fell asleep.    At 4, I went home and sat down, fell asleep for a couple hours.   So far, I had gotten about 4 hours sleep.   We ate dinner and sat down I fell asleep for another hours.    I went to bed at 10pm and got up at 5:30am.     So in the last 19 hours, I got about 12 hours of sleep.    It felt soooooo goooooood.   :)

The last two weeks I haven't been sleeping very well.   So it was perfect.

We had so much fun at the football game last week, we're going again.   Dumping the crutches in the car and hobbling in.    Senior night for my friends friends son.  Her and the dad escort their son across the field at half time.    Hot chocolate or coffee.   It's chillly in Detroit this evening.

Have a nice Friday evening everyone.    :-*

Full day without crutches.   My arm pits are breathing a sigh of relief.    Ankle is still tender but after a light workout on the elliptical, it is feeling pretty good.

The wife made sloppy Joes and home made french fries for the kids. It was so damn cute watching those little piranhas make a mess.  :D

The difference between a kid and an adult enjoying sloppy joes -- the size of the mess. ;D

I might have to do that for supper tonight. Thanks for the idea.

That is all.

We had them last week.   I like to put the meat on the bottom bun, then layer BBQ potato chips on top, then the top bun.    Mmmmm  my mouth is watering.   All the sloppy that hits the plate, I scoop up with another bbq chip.    I will only eat sloppy joes with very close family members, never friends.   It' a very private intimate thing.  ;)

Speaking of potato chips. I found 'Dill Pickle chips' at my local grocery yesterday. I was so happy. Lays use to make them, then stopped. Now the grocery store brand started making them. I'm not really a junk food junky, but I love those chips. They are so freaking delicious.  :emot_thdrool:

I'm glad I could give everyone the munchies.  :D

Tonight she's making us meatloaf, which is way fancier when she makes it  mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade crescent rolls.

How many times do I have to say being married to a chef is great 99% of the time?  ;D
