Am watching on the BBC's HD channel and I've got to say I'm impressed by the way team USA have a no surrender attitude.

Sorry to say it, but I think that the Belgians will win out but only because they counter attack when the USA push forward with 5 or 6 men leaving themselves very open at the back. Tim Howerd however, is having a great game.

Bexy, Belgium 1, USA 0 in overtime... still playing, hard fought game, and Belgium has peppered the U.S. goalie all game. Fun game to watch no matter the outcome.

Green needed to be aging a lot more then he did. I mean really, less than a minute after subbing in. Of course we didn't start aging until the last 10 minutes of OT

What a game, what a game. Mucho respecto for Howard, or the score could have been 20-1 or something like that. All players were DEAD at the end of the game, yet Jones and Dempsey managed to give all Belgian citizens a near heart attack in the last 10 minutes. Good move of Wilmots to replace an exhausted Origi by Lukaku. De Bruyne and Lukaku finally managed to beat the American goalie. I must say, it made for the most hilarious conversations in in every Belgian household "They can't get it in!" "Is it in yet?!"

I agree Bexy. The US team was playing defense most of the game but the problem was they had not scored a goal yet.

Wednesday -  Argentina vs Netherland

Will the refs keep the yellow cards in their pockets as they did in the Brazil - Columbia match?  Called helping the host country.  Just part of football lore.  8)
