I understand that some people have joined this board because they are readers, some because they are writers. Most people are probably a little bit of both.

I myself is of the latter. I like to write stories, but sometimes I lack inspiration and I read more than I write. I only joined recently and I have posted a few stories that I've written before I joined. And I've also written a couple of stories after I joined just because this board has given me the inspiration.

I joined in the hope of getting inspiration from the stories I read here. I am of course looking for the pearls of this board, and eventually I am sure I will find some of them. I also joined in hope of getting advice, feedback and maybe get in touch with other writers that share the same interests as I do.

So I'm a writer and I'm a reader. Which are you?

I'm a writer of poetry, I hope to continue to write again someday but for now it's poetry I concentrate on.

Mainly a reader.  It was the stories that brought me to KB.  Now I follow the topics more, but still read the occasional story.  

My writing for 20 years consisted of 30 and 60 second radio commercials.  A lot of my replies here tend to be short, but in my mind anyway, I try to get my point across.  Sometimes it may be better if I flesh things out better.

As many have already stated, I'm both a reader and a writer.

My biggest problem is that I start to write feverishly and then I hit the wall and find myself blocked - I really could do with a muse to inspire me to write more as I find writing very therapeutic.

I just registered, and I'm trying to catch up with the culture here. I've been writing porn for over a decade. It's super arousing, but I usually don't get off on it while I'm writing. That may be why I'm so addicted to it.

That's becoming a big problem for me. Every time I start writing something, I feel like I'm just re-hashing my last story only with different characters
