I finally achieved fifty posts! I thought perhaps confetti would magically appear, falling from my ceiling etc.

Instead, it seems that most threads I posted in died right there.

You will find that threads come and go. Old threads can come back and move along better than the first time and others die with no replies ever. It's all a roll of the die.

No, it's really not. Find topics that interest you, read, then reply. The more thought out your reply, the better responses you get which really should lead to more chat on the board.

Actually I'm seeing that already. I probably won't be an overly frequent visitor but hope to contribute when I do. Been looking for a long time for a site where I can talk directly to other parents, especially mums if possible.
