I really don't know how adults can go without driving...Amazing to me.

Try driving in NYC. You will learn words that you never knew existed.

And in NYC there are many, many people who have never driven...

1) While on vacation in Florida at 15 years old, I saved a 20 year old girls life.  She was choking on a grape.  I had just learned the Heimlich maneuver at school a month earlier.

Since the horses have been mentioned above...
2) Tried riding a horse once.   It tossed me in about 5 seconds.   Never riding one of those beasts again.

3) Mentioned this on KB before, but, during sex once Michelle broke my penis.  :'(  It's not technically a break, it's the rupture of one of the tunica albuginea.  Emergency room and a 8 hour stay in a room.    You would think the nurses would be more professional than coming in my room and saying, "Hi Mr. Xxxxx, how is your broken penis feeling," as they are holding back a laugh.  No sex for a month I think it was.    All is fine with the willy now.

1) Hey, Janus, I don't drive either. Very comfortable with public transportation [my sister on the other hand hated it] and i've always loved walking.

2) I love running too but have a mild breathing disorder which limits how long I can run.

3) I've had chronic back pain from an early age.

Out west, there are few public transportation systems worthwhile. So Even the larger cities can be difficult if you don't have some means of transportation. Not everyone lives in NY City, etc.

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

You better Hush up there little girl..... :D

I know about walking I just can't believe that there are adults out there that don't drive a car....It is different.

Different? A lot of people I know can't drive, my experience is if your live in rural area you are automatically geared towards learning to drive from a young age. If you live in a city it's almost quicker to use public transport.

I don't see it as strange in the slightest

I gather you don't live in L.A.  A half hour drive is a 90 minute bus trip, if you're lucky.  BTW my wife doesn't drive.

Well I guess you do learn something new everyday. I really didn't anticipate that many adults do not drive vehicles...Amazing....

I'm a country boy....My Parents and Grand parents had me driving at a very young age........My Mother would let me drive 15 miles to my friends house when I was 14.

I'm across the pond
We have bus lanes that help the flow of public transport
I've never been to the west coast of the US

There are a lot of people in the cities who can't drive, especially in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. They spend their entire lives riding on bike. It's fast and cheap in the city. Cars and driver's licenses cost you a fortune in Holland.

I'd love to visit the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam.

I'm scared to visit the redlight district in Amsterdam as I fear I'd not get out alive.. way too much candy for one man to wade through ;) lol

The same thing goes for the pot cafes - man, I have wayyyy to much free time on my hands these days ;)

My stories can be found here

1) I used to be a stripper (I think that one might be known, but I'm not sure)

2) I fell in love with a stripper (ok not actually in love, but I really wanted to be with her)

3) I've fallen asleep at a Major League Baseball game (I'm not a sports person at all)

Just as long as you didn't fall asleep while having public sex at a Major League baseball game, that'd tick your husband [or stripper girlfriend... ;-) ] off...

OK, I'll give it a go.
1: I have mild synaesthesia (mostly it manifests as some smells having colour, but there are other crossovers)

2: I cannot, for the life of me, successfully make banana cake

3: My superpower is unintentionally attracting people I have no desire to EVER have sex with 0vomit0. I dearly wish this worked on people I want to have sex with :emot_laughing:

Wow, #1 sounds like it could be a real conversation starter.

As for the other two, why how about that, ditto for me.   :emot_laughing:

Wow fascinating, I'd never heard of that before so had to Google.

I use to have a weird phobia and as I have never met another person with it, I will keep it off the public board. It isn't so bad now, but if you want to know what it is PM me and I'll explain why it doesn't affect me now.

I can't stand designer labels

I'd love to have regression therapy, just simply to see where I've been as opposed to curing an issue I have now.
