Looks like the animal penises sold in China!

Left to right: crab, tuna, sea urchin with quail egg, salmon, yellowtail.

Really?  Looks like kani, maguro, uni, sake, and hamachi?

Nigiri, of course.

Exactly.

In fact, I think I'm as turned on by this pic as I am by the lovely women on the beach pic...

I was driving back to the house after school drop off, and stopped at a red light near a local croissanterie.  The smell was irresistible.  I bought some plain, some chocolate filled, and a ham and cheese stuffed.

I traveled to the coast today and had blue crab stuffed drum, with a Cajun “Nueces sauce” with crawfish.  Oh my God.  If I could have climbed on the table and fucked it, I would have.  It was that delicious.  Or maybe that was the oysters speaking... we polished off a dozen on the half shell for starters.

Eat oysters in the months with “r” in them:  September, October, November, December, January, February, March & April.

I've lived in Maryland all my life.  Oysters and blue crab are worshipped here, just as they deserve to be.

OK, salivating now.  My next meal out is going to be at a raw bar I know.  In the meantime, crab just made my shopping list.

Not yet, but SOON..... VERY  SOON...  I just flipped the baked chicken with garlic and Italian herbs (and some sweet potatoes), adding a little more rosemary, basil, oregano & fresh garlic as they'd faded over the last half hour at 400F.  I have the Greek salad ready and waiting, once the thighs get below incandescent (in about 15 minutes.)

And no, I didn't remove the skin... I want ALL of the fat I can get!  Way back before I turned vegetarian, my preference was skin-on legs and thighs, and my tastes haven't changed.  Oops, the timer just went off!  ;D

edit: YUM!  To polish it off, the last of the organic strawberries I'd found last Thursday had just started to go soft, so I had Paleo Strawberries 'N 'Cream' for dessert (coconut cream with a splash of coconut milk to thin it a little and a dab of maple syrup to sweeten it, whisked briskly to mix it all) and chopped pecans on top.  I don't normally eat dessert, but there's no sense letting organic strawberries go to waste, and I didn't think they'd last until morning.

Sorry, I was busy cooking and then eating, didn't have time for the camera.  Food is more important than photos.

French toast for dinner.

Leftovers for breakfast this morning.  It wasn't quite as good as last night.

You take the crescent rolls, lay down a triangle of cheese, then roll them around a link of breakfast sausage, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.  Kids love them, and really easy to make on school mornings.

This sounds fun and delicious!

But do you use crescent roll dough, or crescent rolls? And do you use precooked (frozen) or uncooked (fresh) sausage links?

I use the Pillsbury crescent rolls dough, and cook the sausage for a little bit to get them started before the oven.  Don't overcook, or you will end up with a piece of jerky in the middle of your baked roll.

Here's a recipe that includes eggs too.
