What was the last thing you put in your mouth?

My dad took me out to lunch yesterday.
We actually went to one of the last surviving Howard Johnson Restaurants.
Along the way he told me about the hotel chain and their restaurant's.
Anyway, he managed to introduce me to their trademark meal "All You Can Eat Fried Clams and French Fries".....so I tried it, actually for all the stories you hear about HoJo's the food wasn't that bad or that expensive..

first the "taco" now all you can eat "clams"! Are on the innuendo diet or what? what's next beanie weenies without the beans to keep the carbs down or fresh buns stuffed with pulled pork, or do you have U.K. friends that brought you spotted dick?

Went and picked up my brother in law.   He and my bf are watching Mich vs MSU football game yelling at the television.  They're both Mich fans and they're losing 14-3.   Keeping brother in law here tonight.  I made them chili.   Layered the bottom of the bowl with fritos, then the chili, then shredded cheese and sour cream on top.  I have to admit, I did a good job.  Yay me.  Brother in law and I drinking Angel's Envy bourbon.  BF drinking Heineken.

hahaha     Nope.   Too tired.    Just seemed like a long day and I was sleepy.   They watched a football game and I was ready to go to bed 2 hours earlier than we did.   Plus, my brother in law stayed at the house and I had to keep the bedroom door open just in case he got up.

The last thing I put in my mouth is Coffee.

Wife has stepped out to get some pet food for the dog and cats. It's almost lunch time. We have 2 pounds of chocolate covered raisins in the pantry so I had me a handful to tide me over 'til lunch.

Moist brisket, babyback ribs, and sausage, potato salad, creamed corn, and peach cobbler from our local barbecue joint.  All so good!

I had to modify her original recipe, as it was EXTREMELY soupy before freezing... so soupy that the cacao nibs all fell to the bottom of the pan.  I ended up doubling the almond flour and added 30 grams of finely-shredded coconut to stiffen the batch up.  Those two changes worked the trick, and it was about the same consistency as true cookie dough.  I used Himalania cacao nibs instead of mini chocolate chips or finely-chopped dark chocolate 'cos I frankly haven't found any of either one that I'd eat on this diet.  The Njoy Life mini chips all use cane sugar and other objectionable components, and ALL of the baking chocolate I've found had processing or things that I can't have.  The cacao nibs give the fat bombs a nice crunchy texture.  I use them frequently in recipes that call for chocolate.
