That's happening over here as well.

That's happening over here as well.

We have 15 different kinds of Fritos, maybe 20 kinds of Doritos.

So I assume each “new” flavour attracts a small group of new customers. But 90% or more of their sales are made to people that are already loyal customers. When I see 15 feet of shelf space devoted to a dozen corn chip flavours, I typically just keep on walking.

Exactly.  Like Combos. You know crunchy pretzel tube filled with creamy cheddar cheese-flavored filling.  Numerous flavors.  And then you ask your hubby to grab you a bag of Combos when he runs into the gas station on a trip up north. And you open that bag and bite into a cracker version. WTH

OBS?  "Meh"?!?   Really?  You didn't get anything out of it?

It's been.a while since I've had any.  I will have to reacquaint myself with them soon. They're good.  My go to road trip snack is caramel corn.
Speaking of junk food, at the Preakness party, someone brought chip dip and Ruffles.  Oh was it good. Been a while since I've had chip dip.

Today is International Hamburger day.  We saw it on this mornings news.  We just had hamburgers on Saturday, but Dan said he'd make a different burger than we had on Saturday.

I just had the best Swiss, fried onion and mushroom burger of my life.  He pulled it off.

Some deals today and your local fast food places. ...

Good ribs along with some great sides. Our friend has us out to her place. She'd picked up rib dinners from a local place. The ribs were good but traffic made us a bit late getting there so could have been hotter.

Some great sides to fill us up. Too  much food. Creamy Cole slaw, corn bread with honey butter and mac-cheese.

Staying for movie cause I ate too much to move.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Smoothie for lunch.  I've been eating liquid lunches.
Frozen strawberries, strawberry Yoplait yogurt, two scoops of protein, oat milk and water.

Fry bread tacos, and pesto fries. Between me and Bob, we've got the comfort food covered for the weekend.

Linguini, with grilled shrimp tossed on.  M made a sauce that wasn't the best, but it was okay. A piece of garlic bread. And a wonderful glass of wine.

Tried something I read about on the web, called a Chinese Omelet. Scrambled eggs, chopped tomatoes and lentils. Add a little soy sauce and a little cooking wine. I put in a dash of sriracha sauce and topped with freshly shredded Parmesan cheese (my own contribution, I don't seem to be able to make eggs without adding cheese of some kind). Not a dish I'd want very often, but it was better than I expected.

OMG, it has been so long. There was a time I would eat them once a month.  They are so good.  But to be honest, I likely will never eat one again.

I've eaten fair share of them, and they are a lot better than a Jimmy Dean military meal. They were absolutely awful. They always came frozen, and the sandwich disgusting and dry as a rattlesnakes butt! I'd eat white castles the rest of my life before eating one more of those horrendous things... gagging just thinking about them.

Last thing for me was celery/baby carrots and dill dip

Dill dip reminds me of...
We went for a walk yesterday in the neighborhood.  We actually walked past Dans old house, which he now rents out.  Anyways, the neighbor was having a party and we went in for a while after Larry spotted us walking by.  Didn't stay long, but they had a veggie tray with dips.  They also had Helluva Good Dip and Ruffles.  I ate one with a little dip on it.  I could've eaten that whole f*ing bag up chips and container of dip.  I'm a recovering chip dip addict.  It was soooooo good.  Had some more veggies and blanked p dip out of my mind.   I used to eat saltines and chip dip in my teens.  Would rather that than candy.

Scrambled egg done in the microwave in work for breakfast, along with some toasted soda bread.
