Looks very good toe.  I’m going to pick up some portabellas and zucchini tomorrow.  I have a pork tenderloin and some Anaheim chilis I can pick on my deck.  Everything will go on the grill.

Btw, I think Chirp should post in this thread.  Hey Chirp, what was the last thing in your mouth?

You are no longer a newbie, you’re a regular.  You do annoy the hell out of me at times, but I’ve come to accept you for the big hot steaming bowl of mess you are.  So yes.  Please over explain.  Pontificate.  Write down every thought that pops into your head as a stream of consciousness rant.  You are the most intelligent village idiot we have ever had.  But that’s just my opinion.  

I always wanted to know where I could avoid Bobby Flay in New Mexico.  Good to know.

Cold leftover Bush's fried chicken.  2 legs, and 2 wings, yesterday was "Monday Madness."  That's a 10 piece for the price of an 8 piece, but invariably the extra pieces are drumsticks, and wings.

I love cold fried chicken in the summer.

I love cold fried chicken in the summer.

Bush’s is almost as good the second day.  I usually request thighs and drumsticks only.  Because I like dark meat, and the kids only want drumsticks.

It's a mixed bag, their rolls are terrible, and set off my GIRD.  I prefer biscuits, because I'm southern, but I guess they're handy for wiping the grease off your fingers.  Why I think they're even better cold, but they bread the everlivin' hell out of it, which is what I like.

A local eatery.  We walked two miles to the restaurant, I ordered the steak tips with mushrooms and grilled onions in a zip sauce.   So good.  It was accompanied by a Woodford Reserve.  Double.  Neat.   A delicious meal.    The only issue is it was served with the worst garlic bread I've ever taken a bite of.  Only one bite.   The walk home was so nice and cool.   A great evening.

Did exactly this last night and had leftovers for lunch.  I also grilled a thick slice of red onion and six ears of sweet corn, boiled first then charred on the grill.

I can’t get enough sweet corn this time of year.  I’ve been buying it at a farmer’s market from some Amish.  Amish girls often aren’t very cute, but the one that sold me the corn yesterday sure was.  I’d knock that bonnet off her head any day.
