Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 28th, this year. Just another day at the office for us here in America.
That unexplains it.
Well done Barbara, now go and eat some pumpkin pie.
NEXT Thursday, Grm, NEXT Thursday...
And I know why I'm here: To fight the unending battle against grammatical atrocities..."Why are you here American's Americans?"

I thought women had periods, but Americans probably call them full stops, not tonight darling I'm on my full stop.
....sends Grm a 2014 calendar with all the United States holidays listed on it so he will not be embarrassed next year.

Well actually it was our US hosted message board that said it was Thanksgiving, I just assumed it was the last Thursday in the month yesterday(having not looked at the calendar.) Thanksgiving, reason no # 307 why Americans are very odd, having a annual holiday in the middle of the week.
I have yet to see him embarrassed ... just sayin'

I am guessing a little embarrassment would give the old guy some color. You know, the English and their prison pallor....just saying...
