Nothing can load faster than the slowest link in the chain, and in this case it's probably -- but not certainly -- the server which is hosting the gif. And the server response is going to vary based on demand.

When I first posted the gif it loaded for me with no delay whatsoever; it began to play the moment it I hit [Enter].

Go figure.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seeing him ground into the dirt. I'm just wondering how it will be brought about.

No, no, no...the thumbs up gif was me trying to express to IdleBoast that I liked his post with all of the abstract visual references to Hitler. Looking at it with hindsight, I don't think I made that all that clear.

I find that's this is pretty typical of Internet posts (both mine and others). We think we're being clear, but what comes across at the other end is very different. Writing is not a challenge to be undertaken by the weak or feeble.
