Taking witnesses not under oat, and in private session testimony due to the 'classified' nature of operations, should generate a short report, with few surprises. Do we even know who gave testimony? Who refused to give testimony? We certainly don't know what was asked and answered.
The real activity regarding this debacle for Sec. Clinton and our President, was in the House Government Oversight Committee, and no matters of substance were able to be discussed under oath and in public during those hearings, due to Administration intransigence.
For that reason, a House Select Committee has been convened, with its attendant powers, and the details of who knew what when, and who was where when, and why, will continue to be fleshed out, bit by bit as is necessary.
