I may be stating the perfectly obvious here and I guess I only have myself to blame but I have discovered that a lot of people aren't who they say they are...I know Avatars are not the real you or in this case me
This can easily be found out by a reverse image check, but to have a member who contacts you and puts on fake pictures of herself to get you to put on real ones of me or a friend is not on.
Very little I can do about this and do not wish to expose the member with out her contacting me it may be a genuine mistake but unlikely and I don't want to be thinking this :

I can see why Grm posted that link I understand the dangers and am not ever about to give up personal stuff like facebook twtter cellphone numbers and alike to someone on the other end of a computer...I like to be contacted and I love the chat I just did not appreciate being 'duped'...ahh well lesson learned next time I will have to just do a lot more sleuthing !!

Some ladies like a pic of a prick, but they can ask.

Chatting is really just roleplay. Even if it isn't sexual at all, and one is truly trying to be themselves, one is still only conveying a fraction of who they are (facial expression is lost without video, and even if you have video, you can't exactly show someone who you are without the possibility of more intimate contact).

Be yourself, but assume all others are as genuine as you'd expect. If one is an 18 y.o. model from California who is online cybering with any dude who can type 20 hours per day, one begins to wonder how she has time to puke up her breakfast. Most truly gorgeous men and women don't need to play online (there are a few exceptions I've met on this site, but that's my opinion and faith... always faith). If you like the fantasy of that member being real, then consider them real. Who cares if you were wrong? You were only wanking anyway... wanking to a fantasy.

I've taken some of my on line friendships into reality and yes they have been exactly as they said when I've met them. I prefer honesty when I'm talking to someone, in case meeting is ever on the cards.

You know, Adrian Paul keeps taking my pics and putting his name on them, and that is why they show up on the reverse image search...  don't take me too seriously. LoL.

I have only shared my image like 3 times with anyone on a board like this. On dating sites, I leave the male silhouette, which means I have to rely on verse for charm, LoL.
