This is my game-plan for proposing to my girlfriend. I want feedback, because I might be able to change something (nothing big, I’m poor).
It starts when she gets off work on Wednesday. I arranged with her boss to get her the earlier shift- I’m taking her out to one of her favorite organic restaurants. There is a nice local musician playing, some cool folk music, and I sent him an e-mail asking him to play one of her favorite songs: the Jeff Buckley version of “Hallelujah.” Cost me twenty bucks, but well worth it. After that, I will take her to a timeshare that my mom let me rent (it’s about 50 miles out of town), put on one of her favorite albums, and go down on her. I will probably skip having sex that night, I want to be ready to really go nuts on Valentine’s Day.
I also arranged with her boss to get her Valentine’s Day off, and I’m going to take her to the beach for a walk (I have class early, it will be around noon when I get back). I will have made my chicken curry stuffed ciabatta sandwiches (she loves those), and I’ll feed her, while we look at the nice view as I give her a nice massage. We will most likely have the beach to ourselves, it being February and all, but right across the street is a nice Thai restaurant I’ve been researching online, and as we both love Thai food, I’ll take her there and buy an early dinner (the sandwiches aren’t that big).
Now the real magic begins. I leave her in the car in the garage to listen to my stereo for a few minutes. I run inside and take the artificial rose petals and make a path to the bathroom, lighting dozens of candles along the way. I turn on the stereo in the bathroom, serenading her with Tori Amos- one of our favorites. Specific songs include “Winter,” “Caught a Light Sneeze,” “Flavor,” and “Pink and Glitter.” I fill the tub with hot water and lavender bath salts, and bring her in. I take off her clothes and put her in the bath, kissing her. I pour her a glass of Martinelli’s apple cider (neither of us drink), and leave to the kitchen.
I come back in with a tray of frozen chocolate covered strawberries I have cored out and stuffed with white fudge, coconut, and macadamia nuts (they are delicious), and I feed two of them to her, before I put one in my mouth and kiss her with it.
I take her out of the tub, dry her off, take her in the bedroom (more music for this, just some classical piano stuff), pop half a tab of Viagra, go down on her while I take turns with her favorite vibrator (it’s a little egg vibrator I bought her last year). I make sure she cums at least three times, which shouldn’t be too hard- I’m good at oral, and the vibe will be a nice pinch-hitter when my jaw gets tired. By then I should be ready for business, and I start in her favorite position: I straddle her left leg, hold her right leg, and kiss her leg as I fuck her. My hands are giving her a nice foot rub, taking care of whatever the bath didn’t do as far as relaxing her.
I will just kinda wing the rest of the sex, hitting all the major positions. Who knows how long I’ll last? I’ve never done Viagra (this is a sample from my doctor, we’ll see how it works).
In the morning, I’ll wake up first (I’m an early bird), and cook breakfast. I’m making her French toast with homemade organic pineapple preserves (my mom made that), and in the center of the tray, surrounded by a cupcake paper to keep it clean is a black felt jewelry box. Inside is a plain silver ring, no diamond, no decoration, just like she likes. So technically, I’m proposing on the fifteenth, she’ll never expect it.
What do you think? Is there anything I can improve on?
