I kissed a major national party nominee for Vice President of the United States on the lips, and it wasn't just a peck. This may not be what you're talking about, ish, and I definitely don't mean to be a buzzkill, just consider this a public service announcement; but if you (or anyone) start getting into S/M & B/D beyond beginner level, do not fuck around with breath play. I do breath play all the time. It is usually with a gas mask with a six foot hose. You can still breathe, it just forces you to breathe slowly, VERY slowly. You could pass out, but it won't kill you.

I've also occasionally had my head shoved underwater while I'm getting a hand-job, but she had a thirty-second timer, and I could easily overpower her. The trouble with breath play is when people choke each other, or tie around the neck. That shit is dangerous, but I've done it as well. No more of that, though.

Gas mask is great for those who are experienced with S&M but have never done breath play, all else is not reccommended at all, ever, no matter what, period.

Yeah, it was the choking and "scarfing" that I was referring to. That is what is particularly dangerous, it seems. That's what my friend's friend was doing.  I cannot imagine what it would be like to find you have choked to death the one you love while you were trying to have fun. I'd probably hang myself, too.

I personally don't understand the appeal, but I don't get skydiving, either, which I see as quite similar. You can be very, very careful and have an experienced teacher, and the chances of anything going wrong may be very small; but if it does go wrong, you are dead. To me, no thrill is worth that sort of risk. To each his own, but I won't let anyone I care about take that kind of risk without at least hearing how I feel about it.

You're fine, Alby, don't worry about it. I understand why most would not want to do that stuff, but it is fun for me.

When I was a kid, I used to lean my neck into my hands to cut off the blood flow, passing myself out. I'm lucky that didn't kill me. Way to speak up, some really need to hear it, my friend.
