Very sage as well as prudent advice Ms Bexy. While on this topic I would like to comment on a related point based on personal experience. When I joined KB, approximately 5 years ago, I cannot recall why I failed to take advantage of “Say Hello”, or even indeed noticing its availability. When I eventually did I still didn’t take advantage of it feeling the moment, as it were, had passed. It seems to me if I had received a welcoming letter on joining pointing out the things you’ve done, Bexy, as well as noting what’s been pointed out by another noted member that benefits of membership in KB are largely a function of participation of its members I would undoubtedly have introduced myself. In the particular regard to participation I unequivocally plead guilty, not due to a lack of interest but a shortage of available time. I promise someday to flesh out several literary ideas fermenting on the back burner.
I know......promises, promises, promises........on the other hand what can be expected of an old geezer who's as keenly interested in physics as in human relationships? How many KB members are interested in the mysteries of the Higgs boson particle?
Still, my sincere compliments to the Captain on the bridge.
Serviceman.
