Oy... well here goes.
I started the year off with the Dragon Soul raid on World of Warcraft. Burnout ensued, especially when your guild isn't doing it's work to improve it's gear.
I tried Star Wars The Old Republic -it's FTP now if you are interested- and LOVED the storylines, but finding a guild was a bit dodgy so I stopped after completing one character. Clunky controls for my Jedi was a bit of a issue as well.
After that it was a lot of playthroughs
Back to the Future The Game (It's a fun story driven puzzle game, leaves off from the last movie.)
Legend of Grimrock (RPG dungeon crawl)
LA Noire (Uses the same engine as the GTA VI series. Fun, but the ending was a bit unfullfilling.)
Civilization V (Solid RTS game)
Dragon Age Origins and Awakening (RPG)
Retro City Rampage (Indie game, it's a GTA demake, with tons of 80s references and levels with homages to the 8 bit era of gaming. Fun ride.)
About that time was when I got word of the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. To reacquaint myself with the Infinity Engine and Dungeons and Dragons rules, I played
Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale 2.
The latest Steam sale wore me out. I've got about 30 games to play plus what I had before.
But for now, the Lord of Murder has returned.
