"We Belong" is awesome too. All five members of Def Leppard get to sing on this song. Each one does several verses at a time.

Like I said before, I'm not really into today's music so much, but I heard a song the other day that stayed in my head all day.

My House - Flo Rida

It's not that new, but it is addictive. And Elle King is kind of cute...

Hey, Pandora! Good to see you!

I'm not sure how new this one is. P!nk, 2016, "Just Like Fire" from the Alice Through The Looking Glass soundtrack. Love it.

Not new, but new for me, and since I'm a  huge Bryan Adams fan I had to share this.
I was channel surfing through my favorite Music Choice music only channels and came across Bryan Adams' 2014 song "She Knows Me" on the Soft Rock channel. Bryan doesn't Rock as hard as he had in the '80s and early '90s but this was somewhat guitar heavy and  fifty-something Bryan Adams still sounds amazing on this track.

Sorry, google translate can't decipher what the heck you just said.     In English please.  ;)

I freaking love Bryan Adams. Mostly his stuff from the 90's and late 80's.

I just came across a [Country?] singer named Kelsea Ballerini. First I heard her 2015 song "Love Me Like You Mean It", then I saw the music video for her 2016 song "Peter Pan". Both really good songs, and she's a cutie. A blonde who reminds me of Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift.

I love to give new stuff a listen.  If it's worth buying, I'll shell out for it.
For me, it's all about the music, so don't expect me to buy anything based on what
the artist looks like or how well he or she dresses or the range of their vocal calisthenics.  Image doesn't figure into it for me.

As for Taylor Swift selling 1.2 million whatever in one day or whatever, I think it's pretty easy when you're a sellout singing to 20 million screaming little girls.  Not much of a feat there, Swifty.  Try challenging your audience.  Oh, wait... that would be too hard, wouldn't it?

You do love to cause trouble, don't you? So Taylor Swift went from Country diva to Pop Diva - so what? Yes, I miss the straight up Country songs [and I'm not even much of a Country music fan], her new album is pretty good. I wasn't crazy about "Shake It Off" but my mother loves it. "Bad Blood" is great but "Style" is H O T. And I love a lot of the other songs off of 1989, like "Wildest Dreams". Now if we can get her to do a Hard Rock album next and venture into Lady Gaga "Perfect Illusion" territory...

A lot of people like Taylor Swift...... not just little girls.   42 year old girls do too.    Her numerous awards haven't all been based on how many records she sold, but on the songs themselves.
Unlike many artists, she writes most all of her own songs.   She plays the guitar extremely well.   And her songs are catchy and clever.    I had read that most of her songs come from her diary.   So, through listening to her songs, you feel like you know her.    It forms a connection.   Her fans range from teens to 60 year olds.   Mainly women, but again, there is that connection.    These fans relate to her songs.   She might not have the greatest voice, but she is gifted.

I recently saw Zakk Wylde's music video "Lost Prayer". I'd never heard Zakk sing before.

First let me say that I am far from being a Taylor Swift fan!

Having said that,  I don't care who your audience is, selling that many in one day is amazing.  And like Jules said, unlike a lot of the so-called "stars" today she does write her own songs and they do come from the heart.

Its not fair to lump her in with the no talents like Britney, Bieber, Etc!

They are not exactly new, been around for a couple years but if you haven't heard them check out the Hollywood Vampires.  They consist of Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp and they formed as a band dedicated to many past performers who died from drug OD's.  They are pretty good.
