I thought it might be cool to post here when you come across some new music and catch some feedback in it. :)
The Wallflowers are back! I just saw the music video for "Reboot The Mission". So what do you think about the song/video?

When i first heard Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Getting Back Together" on the radio over a week ago it sounded like some hip-hop song. I hated it, it wasn't Taylor's style.
Turns out that was some kind of re-mix. I just saw the music video on Music Choice, it had a pop/rock/country beat to it, i definitely dug it.
The video was a bit quirky, has anyone else seen it or heard this version of the song?

New album came out at the beginning of the month. This is the sixth studio album by "Between The Buried and Me". I need to find some time to give the whole album a listen but really like this song.

Not a lot of Daughtry fans here, but i've been enjoying the Rock ballad "Start Of Something Good" along with its video.

Don't be sorry, TD. Not everyone has to like the music posted here but we put it out there for members who might like it. And the link helps, thanks for that!

'Red' Album Sales Hit 1.2 Million For Taylor Swift

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/31/red-album-sales_n_2048723.html?utm_hp_ref=entertainment

NEW YORK -- Taylor Swift's new album is called "Red," but its true color is a brilliant platinum. The 22-year-old sold 1.2 million copies of her latest album in its first week – the largest sales week for any album in a decade.

Nielsen SoundScan confirmed the blockbuster sales on Tuesday night. "Red" marks Swift's second straight album to sell more than 1 million copies in its first week; "Speak Now," her third album, sold a little over 1 million copies when it was released in 2010. She is the only woman to have two albums sell more than 1 million copies in its first week.

"They just told me Red sold 1.2 million albums first week. How is this real life?! You are UNREAL. I love you so much. Thanks a million ;)," Swift tweeted Tuesday night.

The only other act to sell more than 1 million copies of an album in its debut week twice was `N Sync.

Swift isn't a boy band, but she's certainly got the appeal of one: the country crossover has a huge following, particularly among teens who have followed her since she was a teen herself, releasing her first album. But she's also a critic's darling: The Grammy-winner's "Red" garnered plenty of acclaim when it was released last week.

Swift was omnipresent in the week of the album's release, appearing on such shows as "Good Morning America" and "Katie." She also joined with two untraditional partners – Papa John's and Walgreens, which offered the album for sale. And she announced her upcoming tour.

The last album to sell more than 1 million copies in its debut week was Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," which sold 1.1 million copies last year. However, that album was deeply discounted on Amazon.com in its first week.

Swift has the opportunity to celebrate for a second time this week: As the reigning "Entertainer of the Year" at the CMA Awards, she has the chance to capture the trophy again when it is held Thursday in Nashville.

Don't know if there are any Pinback fans on the board.  They formed in late 90's and hail from San Diego.  I haven't heard anything by them that I haven't liked.  They released Information Received on October 16th.

Pinback...Proceed to Memory

ZZ Top is back! I just saw the new music video today for "I Gotsta Get Paid". The trio still got it. The Eliminator is in the video but it looks like they stripped it of its color.

philip h Anselmo and the illegals

Phil Anselmo is the lead singer from Pantera. His new band is a lot more heavy and different than most of his other music so far. I read a review about the album in Revolver magazine yesterday and really look forward to hearing the full album when it comes out next month. This is one of the two realeased tracks.

New Nine Inch Nails...

Sounds really good, as expected. NIN is one of those rare consistent groups... I am a huge fan.

I'm not sure how new this is, but i saw "Heart Attack" by Demi Lavato earlier tonight on MTV Hits.
I've never really been impressed by Demi. The first time i saw her was on a Music Choice special, Miley Vs. Demi. I wasn't all that excited about the music video that ran at the time or the ones i saw after that.
But something about "Heart Attack" really did make an impression on me. Maybe part of it is when she has her hair back in the music video she bears a resemblance to Ziba [Ziva?] on NCIS...
Just saying

You know how you get in the mood for just some good "rock?" Not any genre like grunge, metal, punk, etc.  The kind of rock that's simple,  AC/DC but not them.  This band comes closest to that sound and I am so glad they released a new album May 20th.  This is two cuts off Black Dog Barking by Airbourne.
