Where is the outrage?

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

This last image makes two false presumptions. The first of which is that Obama is from Kenya. I can't really argue with stupid, but this has got to be one of the oldest, tiredest arguments about him. Are the purveyors of this dumbfuckery actually trying to make themselves look like idiots, or does it come naturally?

The second false presumption is that Bush is somehow this wonderful President we can look back upon fondly. I'm not sure how they came to that determination, but I imagine it might have something to do with an irrational fear of President Blackenstein and that has driven them to an inability to look past the color of his skin, and any type of policy he may have presented.

When the nation's first retarded president took office in 2001, the United States had a projected 10 year budgetary surplus of $5.9 trillion. By the end of his presidency, we were running $1.6 trillion yearly deficits.

How could this be?

Well, an economic recession in 2001 took out roughly $3 trillion of the surplus, followed by President Bush granting another $2.5 trillion in tax breaks, effectively wiping out all of the projected budgetary surpluses by the end of 2002, and putting the federal government almost immediately into the red.

But that's not all, my dear Repubs!

Not only did Bush wipe out massive amounts of government revenue, he started two wars attacking two separate countries that weren't even involved in the 9-11 attack (15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, the other four from the UAE, Lebanon, and Egypt).

His goal? - Go after Osama... in the wrong country!

Then say another country has weapons of mass destruction when they don't, in a moment of national grief and anger, and voila! The war in Iraq! Add to that an increase in domestic spending (such as starting the department of homeland security), and by the end of Bush's presidency, Obama inherited a $4.4 trillion cumulative deficit. Yet these "big thinkurz" stand blaming Obama for all of this country's problems.

So no, I don't miss Bush, and the rest of sane America doesn't miss him either. He should most likely be tried and convicted for crimes against humanity, along with most of his administration.

Liberal, leftist tripe!

Bush is gone, and you wont have a Bush to bash until at least 2016, or 2020. Get over it.

The number of people actually paying the top rates in Taxes under Jimmy Carter (you forgot to mention him) were few, very few. Most had writeoffs within the code to protect them from confiscatory rates, and starting with Reagan, in his effort to drive a strong Dollar and real growth, was to trade with Tip O'Neil and the Democrats to reduce high rates in exchange for reductions in writeoffs. The idea was to build in some incentives to see people put their money to work, so we could all benefit. His tax ideas were similar to John Kennedy, who Democrats championed until he died, then went on to Spend Spend Spend the way Lyndon Johnson had always done.

The number of people who paid NOTHING, or GOT MONEY BACK IN SOCIAL ENGINEERING TAX CREDITS was nil when all this horse trade business started, and the unfortunate Clinton Admin interupting sane rule allowed part of the mess we have today, despite running on a middle class tax cut Platform. Oops...

Are you hoping the few new members posting here will be lured into your thinking? Or just bored, and trying to divert attention from the Trevon Martin trial, and the Snowden mess, and the NSA, IRS, or the Benghazi traitorous behavior? Just bored, I suppose, and spurred by a Patriotic Holiday you could not allow to pass with a simple smile.

Thanks - Sorry Joan, that was me trolling!

I started out that post with some Right wing memes about the "Kenyun muzlum" and the forth pic had a killer reply from a lib troll who calls himself "Otterpop" - I enjoyed it so much, I was compelled to repost it here (hence the yellow, not lime color of the text).

I knew it would rile ya'll conservatives up as I was pasting it in to the post, but figured "what the hell?"

I guess I was right. However, the numbers stand. We were in the black - and that ended with Bush 43.

That said, I am a tad confused by you listing the Trayvon Martin murder trial? What in the blinding blue fuck does that have to do with Bush being a better POTUS than Obama?

As to the rest of your list of "scandals" that require my epic ability to sway newer members opinions...

Well - I am not sure yet, where I stand on the Snowden story. I have not read or heard enough factual information to build an opinion yet.

As to the NSA - I simply reply to you, "Patriot Act"

The IRS is (and has been for decades longer than you or I have been alive) scum. They went after Tebaggers and Occupy folk alike... and fuck them!

And Benghazi? - Well, it appears that no amount of disproving of the "non-facts" that Darryl Issa threw around will ever satisfy the "Obama iz bad" people...

And lastly, regarding your disparagement that oh so subtly infers I am a "bad 'Meruhkun": I give no (0) fucks as to your estimation of what makes a "gud 'Meruhkun". or to how I respect the independence weekend.

But thanks for calling me out on being bored... I think?

NP, hope you are still enjoying the weekend.

My post was kneejerk, and mixing a few earlier items into my response. The blame America first comments on the Holiday we celebrate Independence from Great Britain and as well strike out in a different model from the then known world bothered me, for some reason. Not that we have warts, just putting them all on the face that day.

I should, and expect others sometimes leave what they believe witty and on point instant responses to ripen as a draft overnight, then edit down so the post makes better sense outside my emotions/brain.

Oh, Trevon is the guy who, President Obama said if had a son, would look like him, remember? Thought I saw a Presidential hoodie, too.

Will see if the Jury heard the same witnesses as any who watched CNN. Hopefully. The President injected himself into this case, is as invested as the MSM, and will have a microphone put in his face... oops, sorry, forgot that does not happen anymore... will have an insert made into TPOTUS for him to deliver, if his wishes come true.

So, Yellow Bold is when you are posting in not your own voice? TY.

One word: Photoshop.

Four words: I don't think so.

if it was, the artist would have a solid knowledge of not only, photographic realism and properties of light, but Adobe PS as well. As most of you know, I use PS for a living, and have an extensive understanding of what is required to correctly alter a photo, and make it undetectable.

For example: the shadow gradient on the sign is varied, and not a single grey, and there is a pixelated variance in it that would not exist if someone were to cover (fill) the original sign image with a single color. Even deeper, most people would use the text tool to replace the lettering in the sign. These letters are clearly hand drawn, and marker on paper is VERY difficult to reproduce digitally. Look at the repetitive letters (take the o's for example) each one is a different shape. They are clearly hand drawn.

I don't know if you have ever tried to draw letters in PS, but even with a tablet and a pen, it is difficult to achieve the effect of a large marker on cardboard in such small scale... and next to impossible with a mouse or a touchpad!

Bonus: I opened it in PS, cranked the offset in contrast, and you can see, the pixelation and colors are consistent with an UNRETOUCHED photo. None of the variance in pixels, blur or hue that are indicators of alteration are present.

My verdict: NOT SHOPPED. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Thanks for the response.

On a scale of 1-10, my Photoshop knowledge is very close to 0. Plus, I didn't understand much of what you wrote here.

Would it be possible (or easier) for the Photoshopper to change the entire content of the sign, incuding the lettering and the background, rather than simply editing the one word "Constitutional"?

HAHAHAHA! :emot_kiss: :emot_kiss: Sorry hun, let me see if I can clarify:

For example: the grey part on the sign is varied, and not a single, unified grey, and there are lots of square thingys in the grey part that would not be there if someone were to paint over the original sign image with grey.

Even deeper, most people would type new letters on the sign. These letters are clearly hand drawn, and marker on paper is VERY difficult to reproduce digitally. Look at the repetitive letters (take the o's for example) each one is a different shape... They are clearly hand drawn (rather than computer generated).

I don't know if you have ever tried to draw letters in PS, but even with a tablet and a pen, it is difficult to achieve the effect of a large marker on cardboard in such small scale... and next to impossible with a mouse or a touchpad!

Bonus: I opened it in PS, turned up the contrast on the sign, and you can see, the square thingys and colors are consistent with a UNRETOUCHED photo. None of the distortion that shows that its fake, are present.

I hope that made it clearer...

Thanks, Barraco Barner...

Barraco Barner Misspell Tweet Goes Viral

Barraco Barner Misspell Tweet Goes Viral A British girl thought Baracco Barner was “our president” and worried that he was getting involved in Russia. She admits she very rarely watches the news. Her tweet, sent last week, has gained her overnight fame.

Gemma Worrall, 20, a beautician from Blackpool, insists she is not as clueless as her tweet suggests, and that the autocorrect function changed the spelling. As for President Obama’s apparent demotion to leading the UK and not the mighty US of A, she protests she is well aware that David Cameron is prime minister. While she may insist that her mistakes were simply careless, nothing could have prepared her for the reaction they have received. Overnight, she became an instantaneous celebrity and hashtag #barracobarner was trending.Barraco Barner Misspell Tweet Goes Viral

Although most commentators were pleased to have been given a good laugh, the Barraco Barner tweet earned its fair share of vicious and cruel retorts, excoriating Gemma for her stupidity. The incident illustrates once again the power of social media, and how one innocuous, and hastily dashed off post can create a ripple effect right across the world. With 200 million users on Twitter every day, this can happen with great rapidity. Gemma did not immediately delete her tweet because she was enjoying the fact it seemed to be amusing others, as it was continuously retweeted. Her worried mother insisted that she did, but it was too late. Screen shots had been taken, and it continued doing the rounds. It had already appeared in the Australian press. Within half a day, it was viral. A spoof account @Barracobarner was up and running.

She continues to keep her twitter account live, but scrolls past the nasty comments and only reads the positive ones. She would not pause, for example, on the tweet which asks “Can you give us your insight on the situation in You Crayon and how #barracobarner should deal with Voldemort Poo Tin?” Amongst the twitticule are some grisly threats. It has opened her eyes to the realities of cyber-bullying. Notoriety for being dumb is not something this young girl who has 17 GCSEs and 2 A Levels, one of those in “Travel,” would have courted. Those qualifications are the equivalent of a good SAT score. Some have suggested that her action was cynical, designed to bring her attention, but she denies this. Her parents, meanwhile, are said to be “fuming and embarrassed.”

Others have intimated that the fact Ms Worrall is an attractive young lady has at least something to do with her internet escalation. Whether this makes the response sexist as well as intellectually judgemental is another question.

As a consequence, she has decided it is time she got better educated on current affairs and intends to brush up on the situation in Ukraine. She will take a particular interest in what Barraco Barner is up to. At school, she says, politics was never on the curriculum. Ultimately she would like to go to University and study business, but for now she is saving for a trip to Ibiza. She is not cashing in on her sudden social media stardom.

Her clumsy question has sparked up the debate about the “dumbing down” of Britain and both the state of the education system and young people’s lack of interest in politics. If Gemma thought Barraco Barner’s interventions into Russian politics was “scary” so a lot of social onlookers find her lack of basic knowledge. However, as far as maths goes, she now has 8,027 followers as opposed to 400, so she knows something about generating publicity by now.

Worried about possible offence to the leader of the free world, Gemma has since tweeted “I hope I haven’t offended the real@BarackObama” and she has turned down requests for interviews, saying she does not want to “embrace” her “stupid tweet.” Her advice to others is to think before they tweet.

One writer, Fraser Nelson, in The Spectator applauds Gemma’s complete lack of interest in who runs which country. He quotes Walt Whitman to explain:

Those who look carelessly in the faces of President and Governors, as

To say, Who are you?

Those of earth-born passion, simple, never-constran’d, never obedient

Those of inland America.

Swap Inland America for coastal Britain, he says, and you have the perfect makings of a successful democracy where citizens find politicians completely unimportant. The “freer the country” suggests Nelson, the less anyone needs to know about who is in charge of it. Ms Worral certainly fulfills that brief.

Her hilarious misspelling of Barraco Barner has made her a viral tweet sensation and proved there are many curious routes to fame in the twenty-first century.
