I confess I lied to my seven year old about not being able to find her tablet. She keeps it with her all the time, loses it ALL THE TIME. I had it, and I wanted her to go looking for it so she'd learn to stop misplacing it.

Cruel, I know, but that kid loses too many things. She needs to learn to keep track.

Oh I got plenty on the blanket front, but she’s having hot flashes and claims my hands burn.

My dog used to sleep with me, not sure who’s more sad about her being banished from the bedroom, me or my dog.  Based on her barking, it’s at least equal.

I confess I'm keeping a huge secret from my family. Nothing that's because of me, but because of someone else and what someone did to them and they came to me with trust, without even knowing me. 

It's a huge secret that if it got out, a dream of mine would come true, but would destroy the life of the person who trusted me. And that's the only reason I've kept the secret.

It's a huge secret that if it got out, a dream of mine would come true, but would destroy the life of the person who trusted me. And that's the only reason I've kept the secret. 

Forgoing a dream because the cost would be too high for someone else is a sign of true maturity. I'm proud of you.
