From 3:30 am until 10ish this morning, the amount of lightning and thunder sounded like one was on a battlefield. Yesterday was our third day in a row of 70 and above temperatures.  Now it is 60 degrees but calm.

It's still falling by me. Looks like 6 inches, but it's those big light fluffy flakes, so it's more like 3.

I was sun bathing like last week... WTF!!

Weather people said that just north of the line should be getting 10 to 12 inches.   :o

We have a thin coating this morning too. Worse there's a winter storm warning out for Sunday night through Monday.

For days we've been getting winter storm warnings. Central Minnesota, North of us is predicted to get a couple.feet. The North edge of the Twin Cities may get over a foot and a half. Meanwhile we in South Minneapolis may get only a few inches, but what they like to refer to plowable.

So we've been getting light snow all day. It's slowly building up. Will see what morning brings. :roll:

Its switch fro rain to snow back to rain, and is now doing both. The roads are horrendous. Was planning on just staying home, but had to run to the post office yesterday and they were probably the worst I've ever remembered.

The funny thing though was there was a dodge charger stuck in the parking lot. Not because it was buried in snow, but because it was so slick, his rear will powerhouse was just spinning its tires.  Along comes me tucked into my heated seats with my all wheel drive v6 dodge charger and just easily went around him. Went inside came back out, and he was still there with a few guys trying to push his car up the slope into a parking spot. I drove by slow, and he looked right at me. I was smiling so big. I wanted to go ask if he wanted to race

We had a thin band of rain blow through yesterday. Wet all the cars. There was wind behind the front line, blowing Lubbock. Red soil from the high plains. So everyone’s car is muddy. Mine included.
