In the 80’s today. It was in the 30’s on Saturday. Texas.

First morning above freezing in quite some time. Took advantage and went for a quick run before going to the gym. Even wore shorts on my run. Small problem with ice because the ground is still frozen but didn't stop me, just slowed me down. Going to be in the 60s and going to open my windows and air thing out.

Last night, got so warm, that aside from the fan at max, had to open the windows.

Checked out our Sheriff to see what she was up to. Seems she is enjoying herself.

Midwest weather strikes again. Was 65° at home with little cloud cover yesterday... today 40s with rain snow mix. Probably get little over an inch of snow by tomorrow morning

Yep. Typical Spring weather. One day sunny and in mid 70s, the next two in low 40s, windy and raining. No snow, though.

As the end of March approaches, the winds are starting to die down making the day time temperatures seem warmer. With the forecast highs in the upper 20s/low 30s (C), a good breeze would be appreciated.

6 weeks to go before we head north for the summer.

Texas has almost half as many tornados (12) as the entire previous year (23), thanks to the influx on Monday night. Was one long line of storms from Austin to Sherman. Only 1 death to my understanding.

I was up all night working on Monday night, and two lines of storms pushed through the area. I had about five minutes of torrential rain. And that was it. High winds though. Two other friends had some tornado activity in their vicinity. But fortunately, no one was hurt.

We got that same storm later in HotSprings, Arkansas.  Then we followed its wake across I-30.

23 degrees but feels like 15 degrees with the wind.  But it is nice and sunny.        Hoping the warm weather in Texas heads this way soon.

Today the forecast high is 31C - currently 29.

Forecast for the week is very boring. Every day except Wednesday is forecast for 28C. Wednesday is a cool one at 25 

Some cloud would be nice. But who's going to complain.

I can remember when I was young and living up in far northwestern Wisconsin during the summers to waking up to the eerie cries of loons "dancing" upon the water in the morning fog on the lake in front of the house.  You could barely see them through the fog but the sound they made I can still remember.

I used to be terrified of fog, but that's because when I was real young, my cousin would tease me about the fog hiding monsters. Pointing to the visible ground before it disappeared into the dense fog, I said I could still see them if they came at me and run back to the house, and that's when he said that yes, looking around, you could see them coming right there, but not when you look up.

We used to keep a summer cabin near Hayward. I remember that so vividly also. Thanks for reminding me of a good memory.

Remember the Paul Bunyon restaurant in Hayward?  Or the annual summer log rolling festival?  Best of all was canoeing 25 miles down the then pristine Namekagon River, where you could see the bottom of the river the entire time. Yes, fond memories of youthful summers.
