Nope... freezing I can handle better. I can always put on warmer clothes.

Heat and humidity...even naked I still suffer. Not to mention having the neighbors yelling at me to go back inside.

Two days of 91F and the little red eyed devils are here.  Having a party occasionally interrupted by screams when one lands nearby.

On the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland.

Finally a cool morning. Down to just 68 degrees right now instead of 80s. Think we've had mine or ten days of temps over 90. That's usually what we get for the whole summer.

It is just downright cold this morning. 59° and windy. I stepped outside for my run this morning and immediately thought I needed to go back in for a hoodie. Nearly poking through my top before the run even started

Summer storm all morning. I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't decided to drive in it, but I need to hit the gym from time to time. Running cant do it all.

Had weeks of 90° in spring, and now summer is finally here, and it almost feels like the beginning of autumn

We’ve been yo-yo’ing from 70 to 90 daily for some time now.  Thundershowers every afternoon.  It’s hot, it’s muggy, and the skeeters will eat you alive. Miserable.

Forecasting the hottest temperature ever recorded here on Sunday, 115-degrees.

If I wanted to live in hell, I'd move to Texas. Or Michigan.   :D  The hottest I remember it being here is about 108.  :emot_angry:

We're supposed to have rain and thunderstorms all weekend and most of next week. Granted anything passed three days us a total guess when it comes to weather. It was a mix of muggy 66 and a nice cool breeze during my run this morning.

We have rain in the forecast for the next seven days.  Stormed most of the night. Our drought could be over.

I’m seeing triple digit temperatures forecast in the Pacific northwest. That’s Texas weather. What’s worse is that only 40% of the people in that region have air-conditioning.

It rained all day yesterday. It started around 9 am, and didnt stop until I went to bed. It slowed down to a drizzle, but never really stopped. I can already hear my dad saying how much we needed this. The veggie garden was parched. The raspberry bushes are going to explode.

It has been raining pretty much for three days here. Not just a drizzle but heavy downpours, thunderstorms and tornados in the surrounding suburbs. The sun was out this morning for the first time in days when we began our walk but thick rain clouds replaced the sun by the time we finished.

It was 111° at my friends house near Portland yesterday.  Forecast high here in Texas is 82°.  Makes no sense.

Reminds me of a few years ago when Wisconsin had that polar vortex come through. It was reaching -25° with -50° windchill, and it was almost 60° in Alaska.... in January

This is the reading from our deck Sunday afternoon. The deck is on the east side of the house and doesn't get direct sunlight in the afternoon.

Current forecast is for one more day of triple digits, then it cools off to the 90s. :emot_updwn:

Is it a dry heat or is it very humid?  At 117 degrees though, that is hot, no matter what.

Humidity has been between 20% and 30% for the past few days. I think that's relatively low compared to some of the southern states. A friend who lived in Florida for a few years told me he was happy any time humidity got below 70% when he lived there.

Monday afternoon the temperature dropped from 110 to 84 in a matter of two hours, thanks to a very welcome cooling breeze.

We had torential rain yesterday.  It was lovely.  When you live in the desert rain is blessing.

It also brought the temperatures down from 105F to the 80's.  Very nice.

Sounds like a Texan way of rejoicing. Rainy 4th here. 79° right now.
