It was nice and warm the last few days dispite the random rain showers which just added to the humidity.  Had a quick little thunderstorm roll through early morning, and a massive cool down early on, now it's back up on the 80s with some beautiful sunshine.

Loving it

In the 90Fs over the weekend, but now in the 50s and raining.  It’s been a dry spring.

As Shiela mentioned, it's been hot and humid here in the Midwest.  And in a drought, according to the people in the know.   Though Thursday it will be only in the low 60s.

Got home Tuesday to temps in the 80s. Dropped to mid 60s yesterday but sunny.

Today now down in 40s with steady rain all day. Good day to work on all my trip photos.

Was 82° on tuesday, then it just started to drop, and according to the temp on his dashboard, was 41° when we were looking at the super flower moon.

Good think we shared so much body heat

This seems like a good place to post these pics.  First two days in Black Hills extremely foggy.

View from my motel the first two days.

msslave - great photos, as usual.  WOO! 8)  The top photo reminds me of Chattanooga in the mornings. You wake up, look out the window of your motel and you would think you were in a cloud.

Shiela's and my weather are pretty much the same, though it only fell into the low 50s last night by me. And so far, it still is in the 50s.  But they predict a nice Memorial Day weekend!  8)

Cold, rain and wind.  Temps in the 40s. I had to break down and put long pants and a sweatshirt on for the first time in two weeks.  But they promise better weather on Sunday and Monday.  8)

Utter crap today.

Walked outside this morning for my run, and was half expecting to see people shoveling snow and snowplows going around... ok maybe that's a bit extreme, but it sure as hell felt like the middle of winter.

When I went outside this morning it was 34° with a 32° feel.  Better than a two foot snow storm

It’s just been warm and humid here for about a week, and rain showers on a daily basis. The lawn is mud. And the weeds are enjoying the weather. But I can’t mow, because the lawnmower axles sink into the mud. I bet the HOA starts writing tickets. Bastards.

I got to my dad's just in time for the thunderstorm to rumble on through. My uncle had to help him move thre smoker/grill off the deck and into the garage. They put everything into it and that's where we sat and watched the storm roll through. I went inside after a hit because it got a little too cold, but it was still a nice little storm. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and mid 70s

What a difference a week makes.

Last week chilly and we were wearing jackets. Lots of people lost gardens to unexpected frost. One friend north of me lost all his vegetables that were sprouting and his fruit trees won't be bearing any fruit this year. His final comment..."Thanks goodness for supermarkets."

Now we're looking at over a week of temps in the 90s. July weather the first of June.

My dad has a rule when it comes to his veggie garden. Never plant before memorial day. So he's been out there all week rain or rain planting his veggies. He said better to do it in the rain than 95° heat. Which is what it's supposed to be on Saturday

Possible record breaking weekend in Wisconsin with it  possibly being 95° on Saturday. It's going to be a fantastic weekend.

It seems it will be hotter in Minnesota and Wisconsin this weekend then by us. Humidity, though, will be climbing.

The hotter it is, the less clothes is worn.... 8) 8)

It has rained here daily for almost 3 weeks. A few major fronts have blown through, with high winds and torrential rain. But mainly we’re just getting daily showers in the afternoon. Because the humidity keeps punching through the cap. Ordinarily, it has stopped raining by this time of the year. So everyone is enjoying it while it lasts. But everything outside is very wet, very muddy, and there’s a ton of mosquitoes too.

After over a week of temps in the 90s, we're facing yet another week of near 100 degrees. Humidity has now been added to the high temps. Normal for June is 70s with cool nights. When I got up at 4:30 this morning it was 80.

Are we paying the price of a fairly mild winter?

Same situation here. Last year we didn't see a single 90° day in the summer, and now it's still spring and we've had a week of them.

And the humidity is high and no breezes.  Very muggy out.  Beats freezing though.  8)
