It's cold right now, and getting colder.....
It's 50 degrees at the barn right now, but when the sunsets at 6PM tonight, it's suppose to get as low as 32 degrees (there is a frost/freeze warning out for Warren County). It's probably safe to say that summer is long gone and winter is coming on.

Love,
Liz

Yeah.....It's when you go to the outhouse and your butt freezes to the toilet seat, and you scream for help and nobody hears you except the farm animals and they don't give a damn......that when they find you in the spring frozen stiff and still stuck to the seat.........ROFLMAO.........

Liz

Weather Underground isn't showing a freeze for Dallas... you  guys must be getting a different cold front than we are.  Looks like the lowest it'll hit here the next 10 days is high 30s.

Hill Country.  Amazing how cool it gets with very little asphalt and concrete jungle heat radiating back into the night sky.

Went to the dog part this morning.  Alberta Clipper still at full roar with high wind.  Wet snow that stuck to my jacket and froze my face.  The Basset just had a ball running all over, as I tried to keep up.

When I got home wife asked for an inspection.

Cold wind...Cold water, no difference.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Only hit 34° for the low.  Two degrees cooler than Rope (36°), who is 260 miles north of me.

Never got out of the upper 30s here today. Thanks, msslave, for sending the cold down this way.  ;D  Good news though. It didn't snow.

Heavy rain here, calling for rain all day and high winds later on. At least it is pretty warm, about 60................warmest October on record!

Hit 34° for the second night in a row.  Now we will started to warm up a bit, but summer's 100° readings are over, for now.

Warm here......60 degrees, really cloudy and damp, but no rain "yet".
It was suppose to start late last night, but never happened. The new weather reports say it will hit us around 4pm this afternoon. But one saving grace.......no wind.

Love,
Liz

They are saying 20-25 MPH with higher gusts by me so I assume you will see some of that too.

Monday Morning........Rain and light winds (Nothing like the Coast is getting).
However we do have flooding all around us (the river behind me , rose up at least 10" during the all night rain). They say that we can expect winds of up to 23 MPH during the afternoon (all barn doors closed, and fans are on).

Love,
Liz

Gloomy and windy.  Yesterday was the only day for 4 days straight we had sunshine and no wind.

The trees are still greenish and the amazing colors we got every year never happened. The trees that have changed are dark and bland. The miserably hot and dry summer murdered our fall.
