hahaha, I appreciate the week of nice weather, but I had nothing to do with giving you 7 inches.     And your 7 inches was a mere 3 inches when it got to me.   So who is going to take credit for giving Liz 18 inches?

Snow stopped, but my goodness, it is cold out there.   I took the garbage out this morning and almost froze.    One of those 'cold air sucking the air from my lungs' kind of cold.

As of this morning the official total for the storm was 21" of snow.
Right now they are calling for high winds (gusting to 50-60 MPH) and snow showers all through the day.
It's a good day to do nothing here (except the horse shoer is coming later today).
So right now I'm just munching on some hot oatmeal and blueberries.

Don't worry, no response is needed.

But I find it fascinating that there such a huge difference in the effects of yesterday's storm, even though we're only about 40 miles apart. We ended up with only about 4" and most of the precipitation after the initial snowfall was sleet and rain, while you seem to have borne the full front of the storm. I'm kinda jealous...

Great Gorge Ski Resort is in full operation.......about a 20 minute drive from me.

Your icicles may be better hung then us but wouldn't you and MissB prefer to have something warm inside of you rather then something cold and who knows what pollutants may be in the icicle.  ;D

We ended up with 22". Could have been worse, I have a friend who lives about 10 miles from me who got 26".
And we have been having snow showers on and off all day today.

Pretty much the same here......
Final total was 21" inches.
Right now the temperature is 22 degrees.
I have been clearing and cleaning snow most of the day.
Just glad it's over (for now), new storm due on Saturday (nothing big).
So much for spring being just "around the corner"........
