7:30PM now.....temperature is taking a nose dive into the 20's tonight.
Every is closed up for the wind and the cold. Looks like it's going to be a long winter.

Love,
Liz

Coldest morning of the season so far.  Was 27 when I went out for my run but at least it's sunny and the wind calmed down.  Going to upper 40's in afternoon.

Really cold and windy last night......
This morning is pretty nice.....it's 32 degrees, but the sun is shining and there are no clouds anywhere, just a bright blue day.

Love,
Liz

Summer was so horrible we still have green trees, flowers and grass. The fall colors were so awful this season. In 2014 we had the best summer ever and that fall the colors were incredible.

Now we're supposed to have a brutal cold winter.

Beautiful Morning Here.......(depending on what you call beautiful).
Temperature is 33 degrees.
Frost covers the ground.
Crystal clear blue sky.
Temperature is "suppose" to reach a high of 50 degrees.
Horses are loving this.......
The leaves "finally" have fallen from the trees (no more raking).

Love,
Liz

So, here we are in the northlands of Minnesota.  It's been September weather since...well since September.  Temps in the 60's and 50s.  First frost is on the average is first week of October.  At mid November, still frost free.

Colder weather is in store for us by the weekend.  Predicted high only 36 F.  Going to be a shock with no chilly weather to acclimate us before the sudden drop in temps.

Oh, and as a sign of what's coming.  Yesterday the de-icer trucks were driving around on the airport's service road.  Several drove by me, being road tested before going into service for another winter.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Rained here all day, except it stayed pretty warm.
Just on and off showers all day long.

Liz

Dallas hit mid-80s the last couple of days.  Starting tomorrow it'll trend to November weather, finally.  The air conditioning in my baby truck doesn't work, but I make DAMNED sure the heater works!!  <Arizona expat>

Hey, I thought they'd said the Southern currents had flip-flopped and we were supposed to have a La Niña (colder than normal) this winter.  Certainly hasn't been looking like it in Dallas.

Remember the Golden Rule: you do me, and I\'ll do you (paraphrased)

Yesterday, Friday, we were near 70.  This morning, snow flurries.  Will gladly send it East toward you, MintJulie.  ;D

Looks like we will have that tomorrow.  Mid 50's today but cold and windy on Sundsy.

Grrrrrr, bad birdie

I froze my tail off this weekend.    I arrived home this morning and took a long, warm bath.    Haven't been outside since.    38 right now I think.

Cold....Really Cold, right now it's just hitting 38 degrees.
We had a light dusting of snow, but just north of us they got almost 4 inches of the stuff. (Winter is here with a vengeance, we are still in a drought though). To be honest I'm not ready for winter (just not "right now") but I'm catching up. First chore for the day is to install all the tank heaters in the water tanks so they don't freeze anymore. I have a feeling it's going to be a very long winter.

Love,
Liz

A balmy 28 this morning when we walked the dog. But sunny.
