We just had violent Thunderstorm, heavy rain and wind.  Now it's sunny but more storms on the way!

Sunny but very hot and humid.  Soon as you walk outside you feel all wet and sticky...............and not in the fun way!!

Beautiful Day Today.......
Clear sky's, not a cloud insight.
Light breeze blowing, temperature right around 88 degrees.
Humidity has dropped a lot since the big storm that hit us yesterday.
Spent the entire night clearing trees from the only road through / past the farm.
After about 4 hours with a chainsaw your arms sure do get tired. The county road crew was right along side me, working as was the power people (JCPL). Still, the other end of the road has no power as they have to replace a string of transformers that caught fire  during the storm. So road closed to through traffic. Other than all that, it's been nice.

Cooler now, but mid next week 95+ for...ever and dangerous heat indexes with high humidity. I can already tell you the fall colors are going to be shit because the trees are dry and burning from this shit.

We had nasty storms around 4pm, lasted about 45 min.  Then the sun came out but was like a steam bath.  Not sure if you got the storms down south in NJ.

Rained last night around 10PM.
And it rained hard, for about 20 minutes.
This morning it was (again) hot and humid.
Temperatures are suppose to rise to around 87 degrees this afternoon.

The monsoon has returned which means rain that lowers the temperature by about 10 to 20 degrees.  Two storms went through but split and went around Tucson, and merged again later to rain on Phoenix.

More storms are expected tonight and Thursday.  Hopefully we will get more rain.

Did you know that Saguaro Cactus  actually swell with water after a rain?  Their accordion structure allows room for the cactus to swell.

Was 2nd beautiful day in a row. Blue skies and sunny, about 80 and low humidity.  But the humidity coming back tomorrow in time for weekend!!! Well it is summer,HAHA!!
