Absolutely gorgeous here.     50 degrees on my run this morning.   High of 78 today.    Going to a city fireworks display tonight with 0 chance of rain.

If it's winter where Hoss is, he has to be south of the equator.

Going up to 98degrees F.

Celsius or Farenhiet?

From past experience, anything above -40 is warm (C and F are the same at this temp). And so long as the temperature stays above -52C, I can say I've seen colder  ;D

Radio stations are forecasting 27C today with chance of thunderstorms this afternoon/early evening.

That is all.

Curious, where was it -52 C?  I have experienced a few days in the -30's F but that's like -62F.  I imagine you get to a point where you really don't feel the difference, you just freeze faster,LOL.

On a warmer note, mid 80's today and sunny,  looking forward to taking a swim when I get home later!

Was so pleasant today my 4 year old almost fell asleep in my arms after playing with the dog at the park.

She was so adorable in her summer outfit and sun hat.

 :D

Huge storm heading this way.  The entire southern sky is black, and the rumbling thunder is shaking the earth under my feet.

I live halfway between Flowing Wells and Tucson on the map.

Inuvik, Northwest Territory back in '86 for a week or so. Learned the hard way that no matter how hard you try, you cannot pull start a skidoo.

I imagine that's true.  When it's that cold you probably would have been better off staying in and pulling something else, lol.

I spent a week in Edmonton once and it was in the -30's  and like -50 with the wind

The storm spit into two and went around us.  It was a cool sight, lighting all around but no storm!

The bulk of the storm went north-west and the last I looked it is raining in in the east Phoenix Metropolitan area.  This newest picture shows that it has spread throughout the greater Phoenix area. Wow, this is really early for Phoenix to get Monsoon rain.

As you can see a new system is moving up from Nogales so we may get more rain tonight.

This shows a "wet microburst".  We had one of these Sunday a few miles to the east of my house.  It toppled telephone poles and trees.

Lois - a thunderstorm beats a dust storm any day, in my book.  Glad everything turned out all right for you.

Was dating my ex-wife at the time. Didn't have to pull that. I had to go outside. The arena was on the other side of time. Taxis were cheap or got rides from friends. Walked to the bars. You could tell the locals -- they were the ones not wearing mukluks.

Edmonton is warm by comparison. Plus, I don't count windchill. ;D

That is all.
