We have PLENTY of sunshine here in Dallas. I'll box some of it up and mail it to SC.
edit: I just looked at the map, and there's a little rain around Georgia, but that's it. The East Coast is clear.
We haven't had shit-all for rain since the first of June. We've gotten a couple of sprinkles in the last 4 months, and that's IT. The forecast for late last week showed rain for Thursday (2 days from now) and it's since gone *poof!*
On the amusing side: a month or so ago I'd ranted about I35-E here in Dallas. It's been in SAD shape since the ice last December/January. Well, after leaving potholes in the road that would swallow a Volkswagen, they've finally started to resurface it this last weekend. It's far from done, just strips here and there with asphalt over concrete.
Just in time for THIS year's ice storms to tear the shit out of it again, in 2 months. At the rate they're going, it won't be finished before the salt trucks and snow plows rip it all up again. Maybe they're hoping that Global Warming will whoosh! in and keep the snow and ice away. Keep hoping.... a tenth of a degree globally won't do squat.
