Glad your drought is over, Katie. California is another problem. They have serious issues with water there and it doesn't seem it will get better for the near future.

Toe:  I remember about 10 years ago golfing down near Austin and the huge lake on the golf course was bone dry and it was strange seeing all kinds of boats just sitting on the dried out lake bottom.

Same here, maybe a few puffy white clouds but beautiful.   We sure earned it after this past winter!!

What that doesn't mention is the drive home was more of a SWIM.  Streets all over town are closed at the moment.  There's a stretch of the 114 E just about a mile before it merges with the 183 that's particularly nasty... I saw 10 or 15 cars flooded out, and even the pickups and I were having a rough time of the three LAKES that we had to ford.  The semis were screwed 'cos of all of the flooded-out cars.  I'm sure it turned into a parking lot minutes after I cleared that fucking mess.  EVERYWHERE there are were large pools of water on the roadway, and traffic was moving at 40MPH on the freeways.  I feel for the poor bastards that are flooded out in that mess.

I've already been swimming (sorta)....ran a horse through the river, so we kinda went swimming.

We hit our first triple digit temperature of the year here in Tucson today.  Far more clouds that I'm used to seeing this time of year.  I predict an early monsoon.

We've already had more rain this winter than usual.
