Cold here, which is nothing new for MN.  At least this year we're not getting all the snow we had last winter.  Even at temps way below freezing there's some melting due to the sun getting higher in the sky.  If you've never lived in Northern climes is seems very disconnecting to see the sun so low in the southern sky.  Now it's coming back north.  My cats are confused.  They can feel the warmer sun through the window.  The male ran to the back door this morning, wanting out.  He dashed through as I opened the door and hit the snow and ice.  He soon returned in side and looked at me with an expression that said, "Fix it!!!" :roll:

Sounds just like the weather here except we are expecting a little less snow but maybe even colder temps. They say it may be coldest in the last 20+ yrs.

Sunday night will be great for staying in bed with Annie and making 196deg as it will definitely be a 3 Dog night................NO, not in a perv sort of way! Get your minds out of the gutter! LOL!!

anazazi winter.

all the archaeologists in the 4 corners area are learning first hand why they disappeared, and its supposed to be worse this summer.

all those fine california lawns and pools just might go dry this summer.

we are already seeing signs of "spring" run off.

Cold....It's -24 with the wind.
Blowing snow, but not much else.
Next snow storm is due on Wednesday....(Oh Joy).
(so far nothing has frozen in the barn).

Just lake effect snow here but temps have a hard time getting out of the single digits.  Factor in the wind chill ........brrrr.   Who is hogging all the warm weather?

really nice here.  We had a gentle rain and then the sun came out and it warmed up to 75F.  It is 63F outside right now..

Yeah, FTS!!   
We just had a new furnace installed and the f'n thing isn't working.  Called my secretary and told her to dress warm, she said, "Yeah right, call me when it's fixed and I'll come in."   Sent one of my guys to Home Depot to get a bunch of plugin heaters.   The company I bought the furnace from said they're backed up and will be here around noon.

I made it about 8 blocks before I turned around and went back home.

It was too cold -- even for me.

-11 on my side of the river, however, NO wind.....thank heavens.
So cold that even the horses refused to leave the barn.

Snowing in the Nations' Capital right now... first 'more than a dusting' for 2015, and about 4" on the ground, sidewalks and streets at the moment. City looks so pretty!


Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

we have ice under snow.  Can't get up the drive.
That's okay though, I don't mind 3 days stuck inside alone with the wife. ;D
