I on the other hand, look on the coming of summer with trepidation. Drought, high heat, just how long can the power last and keep the A/C running?

A/C? Real men and women rarely use A/C.... Don't live in Texas do you Watcher?
We went up to 105 F today. It will be triple temperatures now through the beginning of July. (That's 40.5 C)
You people who have spring should be more thankful. We go from winter directly into summer here. 3 months of some rain, uncomfortable windy and cold days, to 9 months of Hell's furnace.Spring and fall take up about 7 days total.
Quote from: msslave on June 02, 2014, 11:19:40 PMWe not only went from winter to summer (80s and high humidity), the mosquito season is off and running with dense clouds of the little fuckers. Not just people they're after either. Got this shot of a loon this weekend being swarmed. Is the state bird of Minnesota the loon, or the mosquito? I forget. LOL.
