But the temperature right now is -5 degrees.

63 degrees and clear. With the lovely explosions of practice bombs going off at my local Base. So I guess you could say its a porch rockin', beer drinkin' kind of night.  ;D

We in Minneapolis celebrated the first day of spring with 3 new inches of snow.  The temps made it up to mid 30s, melting some.  Maybe sun and 40s tomorrow.  That should take care of the new snow.  Now just have to get rid of the several inches still left.  Of course by the sidewalks and driveways it's piled higher from scooping.  Here's a look at the number, for anyone planning on moving here:

50: total days with lows below zero

17: consecutive days of subzero lows

21: days with lows below zero in an average year

May 3: Last snow of last winter

Nov. 3: First snow of this winter

6: More weeks of snow than usual

I have mowed my lawn twice already this year. Yesterday, I was able to do so in shorts.

The pines are ejaculating their nasty yellow sperm, which finds it's way to everyone's nostrils, and covers our vehicles etc. I'm tempted to purchase stock in Zyrtec. I may single handedly raise their quarterly profit margin enough to get a stock split.

I am not fooled by this false spring though. Until the pecan trees show their bright green buds and new foliage, I will know the winter is not yet done with us down here.

Sure I'm crazy! It's the only thing that keeps me from going insane!

Still winter here.  Started out at 9 above F.  Maybe getting to a high of 20 for the day.  Snow may melt by end of April.

Well, our first sign of "spring".  Started raining last night and continued all day.  Just a light drizzle, but that's helping to melt some of the snow.  With a blistering temperature in the upper 30's, the snow will be gone in just a few............wait.....looking out the window.......shit!!!  Rain has turned to snow.  FUCK!!!
