We are looking to break a February record here in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday with a high of 89F degrees.  The low will be around 50F.

We had 9" of snow on Monday, 7" more on Wednesday morning, 17" more yesterday and then another 4" over night.  Tomorrow they are saying 3"............not sure if that even counts as storm anymore.

Perhaps you could have Elizabeth bring her Team of horses over and take you to the store in a sleigh?

MMMMMMM, Id love a ride through the forest in a horse drawn sleigh. Ill bring the hot chocolate and the brandy, LOL

Well there would probably be plenty of solitude.....After about 30 minutes folks would get so damn cold they'll leave your ass all alone. Hahahaha

Ice cave's for this very reason are very dangerous, those pieces of ice falling can kill you, while the ones in this picture look rather small and harmless, I've seen some the size of pickup trucks and when they fall and shatter ice flies everywhere.

Seems We're getting the same shit you have and we are a long ways away from each other...

Snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 23. East southeast wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around 3 inches.

Tonight Snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 18. East wind 13 to 18 mph becoming east northeast 7 to 12 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 3 inches.

We're getting a few inches of snow today....BUT, temps are above 0.  Mid 20s with promises of 30s later in the week, so maybe some thawing.  Thinking I won't do the walks and see if it melts.  I delayed shoveling a light dusting we got Saturday and when I went out Sunday to take care of it, a nice neighbor took pity on this old guy and had our front walks done.

There's is a promise of 40s by the first of March.  Not holding my breath on that one.

Hope everyone else is coping with what ya got.

We are expecting 3 or 4 more inches of snow tonight too.  But maybe into 40's by end of week.

As tired as I am of the snow, as I look out my window across my back yard into the woods I have to admit it really makes for a beautiful site!

Eric, so are we but today we got dumped on at the rate of two inches an hour for all of the afternoon.  Ugh  I would like to find the person who was praying for snow this winter.......  So don't blame me when it heads your way.  Maybe Liz will get another 8 inches or so.... 8)

Two, almost spring like days this week.  If you ignore the foot and a half of snow on the ground.  Tues. & Wed. in upper 30s and low 40s, melting a few inches of snow.  Thur. AM was 32 degrees at 5 AM.  Opened the front door for the paper and my cat marched right out.  It was the warmest morning in months and the walks were dry.  The snow on each side of the walk towered over him, but he gave it no mind and walked around to the back door, and he was ready to go back in.  Later it started to rain.  (More spring signs?)  NO!  Turned to snow...this is Minnesota after all.  By this morning we had 10 inches, with a layer of ice underneath.  Now at least a week of single digit temps and some highs in the teens.  Might not be a spring this year again.  We go from winter to summer.  Hope the rest of you are doing better.

Weather has been the same here except we didn't get new 10" of snow.  But they are saying snow on Sunday night and maybe a real big storm mid-week.

I have feeling will not have spring here either.  Probably have a very rainy cold April and May and then be in 90's by June.  And then I can curse it being so Hot.

Well at least can wear a Bikini again!

One week since our ice/snow storm and streets and freeways still rutted with ice.  Temps below zero to mid teens, so too cold for chemicals to work.  Maybe warm 30's in a week....Maybe!!  With all the cold all winter, none of the snow we've gotten has melted.  Snow cover is over 2 feet deep.  If it ever warms up, it will be a long thaw.

One of the Twins former stars Rod Carew tried to help out with snow removal at Target Field.  Sadly, he froze in place.

Calling for up to 12 inches of snow, starting late tonight or early morning.
LOL....what's great is I can't do a thing (well sorta great, the reason it came about isn't). But now I get to watch it snow and have nothing to do.!!!
Love,
Liz

Expected high for tomorrow:

I didn't move here and put up with the shitty schools to have a real winter. Or 41 as a high in March.
