It's FUCKING SIBERIA here today. I kid you not. Last week sunny spring weather, walking in the sun in just a sweater, now there's knee deep snow in places, an icy northern blizzard wind that blew the roof of our chicken house and is blowing powder snow through the crack under our front door. Husband forbade me to bring the kids to school today, too dangerous on the roads.

It's a cool 76 degrees this morning. Actually closed the windows last night because it was chilly. High today 81 degrees East winds 9-14 knots. seas 2-3ft in NE swell. Perfect day for sailing.. Too bad I have to work.  :'(

March in North Carolina has been 7 degrees below normal for the month. The days starting March 20 we have been 6, 14, 15, 9, 15, 12, 13, 12 and 13 degrees below the normal daily temps. It will probably be one of those years that we go straight from winter to summer hear and skip spring. I am ready to start complaining about it being too hot.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 51. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

We have not hit the 60 degree mark in my area yet this year. That hasn't happened in a long long time.

I'm growing tired of the cold also.

It's supposed to be high 60s to low 70's the rest of the week.  So how come it was snowing this morning at 4:00 am.

Its SPRING that's why.
