I had a flight today, Detroit to Philly, and into Syracuse. Philly was closed due to the storms and it was heading towards Ney York. And here I am back at the shop working the day away just outside of the D  :(

We got all that Thunder, Lightning & Shit load of Rain too. Woke up to nice size branch onto my fence. But oh well needed the rain and for now its cloudy and around 72.

Not so bad these last two days. We've gotten rain on and off. I've gotten addicted to this weather app on my phone, i love checking the hourly feature to see when we're most likely to get rain and the percentage of chance.

We had a huge rainstorm last night that went on for hours, then this morning it rained for hours too.

I don't think this is a common occurrence here.  usually the thunderstorm comes through, dumps a little rain (sometimes very heavy for about a half-hour) then moves on.

One thing for certain, I'll have weeds to mow tomorrow!

There is something strange that I just noticed about Tucson - we have no storm drains.  We had them in California.  Tucson relies on the streets to channel the water towards the washes, that then flow into our usually dry river bed. 



I can always tell a good rain because the street in front of my house becomes a wide, fast moving creek for a while.
