Winter has struck, full force, after a wonderful fall. May get up to 10 inches of snow today. Looking at the maps, I think our area of the Metro will get less.
This morning as I started to stir in bed our female cat came in as usual. Instead of our morning snuggle and purr session, she went to the window. She looked out at the white ground, then looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. This went on for a couple minutes, looking outside, looking over to me, etc. No, the cats don't like snow. One less chore for me, 'til spring.
National news talked about frigid temps with our snow. The highs are forecast for mid 20s and lows in teens, maybe down to 10 degrees. Mild, compared to last years polar vortex.
