Jeezus Christ, Warcher!

Are you trying to get me, Toe, and Staci killed?

Texans can barely drive on wet roads much less ice and snow!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about Warcher, but Watcher sure isn't trying to get any of my Texas friends killed.  8) Many up here can't drive on snowy roads either.

Tucson Arizona got rain along with Phoenix.  I have never seen it rain all day here before

Just think, Lois. With all the rain you have been getting, how beautiful the desert will now look.

Severe storms predicted tomorrow morning by us.  Then colder temps. Ugh.

The last three days on the Gulf Coast (Galveston) were awesome. Breeze about 12mph temps in the low 80s and lots of walkers and joggers.

one of the originals

Weather went from good to bad today.
This morning it was 72 degrees and a little cloudy, by 2PM it was cold. The temperature dropped down to 50 degrees and it started to rain.
First time this fall/winter, all the horses are in sheets for the night.
Tonight's high is suppose to be around 32 degrees.......
Only thing to do now is wait for the snow............

Love,
Liz

They make sheets for horses? Flannels? Or like Sen Byrd's sheets?

Looks like that in Detroit, Watcher.... From out local news station

Quote
Trick or Treating is going to be brutal this year (Mother Nature’s way of playing a nasty trick on us, since last year we set a rainfall record on Halloween). Either snow or a rain/snow mix should be falling, and so will the temperatures -- probably into the mid to upper 30s by 7 p.m. It will be very windy, too (wind gusts could be over 30 mph) which will make it feel like low to mid 20s.

If the snow persists, don’t be surprised if we get a little accumulation on grassy areas, mailboxes, and maybe even your car if it’s parked outside. Overnight lows Friday night should drop into the low 30s.

Possibly waking up to snow???  F'that

It's now snowing at our place up north. Saying we might have a rain/snow mix for tonight.

One son is going to be running at MIS tomorrow so he will not be around tonight. The other is going out. Glad that I don't have to go with him anymore. I can stay warm at the house

At 8am this morning, we had snow showers. Couple that with strong winds and cold temps, many a little trick or treater will freeze today.

Toe, look at getting your dog a thunder shirt. It works for many dogs, and at around $40 it's not heavy investment.

If you don't want to spend $40 bucks, an Ace Bandage will do the same thing for a lot less.  Just wrap it around snug, but not tight.  You should be able to get your finger under when it's wrapped.

Or, you can just hug the dog 'til the storm is over.

Winter has struck, full force, after a wonderful fall.  May get up to 10 inches of snow today.  Looking at the maps, I think our area of the Metro will get less.

This morning as I started to stir in bed our female cat came in as usual.  Instead of our morning snuggle and purr session, she went to the window.  She looked out at the white ground, then looked at me with a puzzled look on her face.  This went on for a couple minutes, looking outside, looking over to me, etc.  No, the cats don't like snow.  One less chore for me, 'til spring.

National news talked about frigid temps with our snow.  The  highs are forecast for mid 20s and lows in teens, maybe down to 10 degrees.  Mild, compared to last years polar vortex.

Bundle up if you're up in the norther tier with us.

That would be very rare.  Don't know if I've ever heard thunder during a snow storm.  Know it can happen in higher elevations.

We hit 66 yesterday, today will be low 50s and tomorrow and for the next week, highs in low 30s.  Glad all the snow went north of us.

Only a couple inches of snow at our house.  Big storm went north of us.  Still, I'm getting too damn old for this shit.  Wet stuff too, so couldn't  use the snowblower.  A northern "burb",30 miles from us, got 10 inches of snow.  That's how close it came.

Single digit lows in a couple more days predicted.  Shrivel time! :emot_weird:
