Here:

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. North northwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming east northeast after midnight.
Saturday Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 39. North northeast wind 10 to 14 mph.

We may just get to 40 degrees F today.  Sunday they "promised" into the 50s.  Back to the 30s for all of next week.  Most people planning a picnic for Sunday, as winter may be back anytime.  Still lots of snow, but.....one sign of spring.  The parking restrictions that went into effect in Feb. have been lifted.  Parking in residential area was restricted to only the odd side of the street.  All the snow had narrowed the street width, making it hard for fire trucks to get down if there was an emergency.

I'm waiting for the barn swallows to return.
They nest everywhere they can in the barn.
As long as they don't poop in the horses food, I leave them alone (they are great bug catchers).
The hayloft (for the first time) now has a bat living in it (not sure what to do about it).

Figures they'd have me on an inside assignment at work today. Guess they'll wait for crappy weather to assign me outdoors.  >:(

April 4th.......Cloudy and rain in Northern NJ.
No snow at all on the ground, unless you go deep into the woods.
Flowers are just starting to come out, grass is still brown but turning green (sorta).

Last three days... Choking pollution of Sahara sand mixed with GB vehicle emissions and general pollution blown in from Europe making this area appear covered in smog... Thank the Lord the wind has changed direction and the mist was clearing by dusk tonight... Should be able to breathe again tomorrow...

Most of Friday's snow has melted, rest should go today with highs to be in the 50s.  The whole week looks good with above freezing temps everyday, even at night.  Maybe....just maybe.......

Just came in from pushing wife around the block in her wheelchair and I'm all sweaty.  It's already 49 degrees at 10:30 CST, with a high to be in upper 50s.  Wed. may be close to 70.  It's the warmest weather we've  had since the first week of Oct.  Most the snow is gone too.  Wheeeeee!

Right now it's 58F with a chance of rain all night.  Six weeks post shoulder surgery I can tell you that if feels more like 1000% chance of rain.  Ouch
