What we have in central Alberta today is cloudy, high of 21C with a lot of smoke and ash. Several wild fires burning several hours west of here. The closest being in Jasper National Park, about 4 hours west if we were to drive.

We need the cooler temps and we have rain in the forecast (appreciated by city folk but not needed until the fall harvest is concluded).

That is all.

Low 70s lots of clouds and some random rain here and there. It was upper 50s last night and when I got home this morning mid 60s.  In other words I'm friggin cold as hell.

Hot blast of summer yesterday. Temps near 90 with strong gusts of wind. The hot wind in my face was like summer slapping me and saying, "I'm not quite done with you yet, bitch."

Just to remind us that this is Minnesota and if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes. High today in the lower 60s, cloudy with some rain.

And so, second summer begins…

Forecast for this weekend is high 80s, sunny with high humidity. For the beginning of next week, low 90s. May summer hold on for another month or so. 8) 8)

Passing the summer weather to Jules so she can continue wearing her bikini. :-*

Yay.  Hope so.  We are leaving on Friday for a three week trip.  Going north and across the UP for the leaves changing colors.  Might even make it to Wisconsin.  Gasp lost my breath there for a second. .  Packing some fall clothes for that

Unless you checking out door county, drive straight on through. Nothing special here to see... maybe the sunflower fields in the south of the state... Cave of the Mounds is neat.

I was thinking about dinner with Allen.

He likes pork. If you do it right, you could both be dining on sausage.

Bratwurst for one?  Some beer and cheese soup?  ;D 8)

Jules, you can always go back home via the southern route around the lake. Think I still owe you a dinner.  8)

Summer like day for us in Minneapolis. Highs will be in the upper 80s. One more time to turn on the air conditioners. Tomorrow a different story. Will only get up to mid 60s. Nearly a 20 degree drop.. long range forecast doesn't show any more highs in the 80s. Time to get out the light jacket and put away the shorts.

Not so fast Bob… it’s second summer.

Right Toe...it was summer yesterday. Set a new high temp of 92 for September 20. Then there's today. Woke up to low 50s and as of 12::30 with bright sunshiny skies, still only 64. I think fall has fallen.

We usually get a cold snap right around Thanksgiving. All the leaves turn black and fall to the ground in a day or two. There’s no such thing as “beautiful fall colors” in Texas. With the exception of the Lost Maples State Nature Area, near Vanderpool.

Low 50s this morning, with strong breezes. With the windows left open last night, house felt a tad cold. The past two days were near 90 and humid, so quite a change.

At 8:00 AM this morning it's only 45 degrees F. Seasons have definitely changed. I kicked on the heat for the first time since June. Was hoping we could make it until October before we had to start burning gas. We got close anyway.

Yes, there is a definitely a nip in the air. It’s only only going to be 91° today in Austin.  Sweater weather.

I have all my camel hair jackets, tweed jackets, turtleneck merino wool pull overs, and there’s about two weeks in February that I can enjoy them.

Go ahead run it in.

I remember going to Mexico.one time in January. It was upper 70s to low 80s in the day and down to 60s at night. Locals were running around in sweats and hoodies.

Tourists like us out in shorts and t-shirts. Of course most of us came from sub freezing weather.

Can we do some kind of a trade. A few days of our cool weather for a few days of your warm weather. Maybe every other week.  8) 8)

To anyone who has friends and/or family in the path of Hurricane Ian, I hope they have gone to a safer place. Just saw where half of the bay at Tampa has no water in it after the hurricane sucked it dry.
