Humid humid humid, and there is a storm coming. Got really dark in the last half hour, and windier. Radio people telling us to be prepared for tornadoes.

Sheesh, hoping no tornadoes, here the same, but no chance of rain.

So I thought the rain showers I got earlier were the storm that was predicted, but i was so very wrong. Massive storm rolled through with strong winds up to 70 mph. Our tonardo warning horn was going off almost the whole time. Apparently there was a few tornados in the southern part of the state.

Guess there are some downed trees around town. But its passed me now. Still have some more rain coming but the worst is over now.  All my friends and family are safe and sound.

A similar storm hit us around 1:30am. The first clap of thunder literally shook our bed. We thought lightning may have hit one of our trees but it didn't. Very humid again today.

After a cold start in the spring, nature is making up for lost time.
Excessive heat warnings out for today and tomorrow. Mid 90s today and near 100 tomorrow. The heat warnings are posted due to high humidity along with the high temps. Rest of the week to be in high 80s to low 90s.

Heavy rain for about an hour that woke me up at 4 am, and awake ever since.  The deep soaking will help the lawn over the coming days of extreme heat.
Have a great day everybody.  I'm off for a jog while it's cool.

I got up a half hour earlier than normal so I could go running in the cooler hours.  It was still nearly 70, but no sun so it was nice. Going to be mid to upper 90s today and tomorrow. The radio is going crazy with warnings about exposure.  We're just not used to this texas heat.

Looking for a possible 100 degree day. Just to add to the misery humidity will be high. Lot's of excessive heat warnings being given. This old man plans to spend the day next to the air conditioner.

The forecast is for 102° today. Come down to Texas. You are all pussies (Lois excluded).

Thankfully, the rains of last few days lowered the temperature.
Though last week there were 3 straight days of 40 C.
The forecast shows that there’s gonna be a hike again later in the week.

I'm just concerned for any dogs today. We have to be careful they dont spend too much time outside.  I personally will be soaking it in by some water whenever I can.

Oh, and we feel the same way when a stare closes for a half inch of snow🤣

It's going to be in the low 90s here, but my car doesn't have functioning AC so, it will be pretty hot driving to celebrate my mom's birthday with her.  Will be drinking lots of water today.

Let's see. We've had a decent day where the temperature got to 25C but we had a brief thunderstorm around 5 PM. The forecast for tomorrow is a high of 17C with a 40% chance of precipitation. Tuesday a forecast of 23C, Wednesday forecast high of 18C with 90% chance of rain then Thursday to Sunday between 21C and 23C.

I'm sure going to try and work on my all over tan. My balcony is quite private and gets decent sun during the mid day hours. The golden brown and deliciousness that was carefully cultivated in Mexico is quite faded so I have to find ways and time to re-bronze.

That is all.

Yesterday the heat broke here with some late afternoon thunderstorms, and today it was sunny until later in the day when the dark clouds built up again, but it did not reach 100. It did not rain either. But it is supposed to rain most of this week, which is fine, as I want to drive to Lillian and buy fireworks for the 4th. Because around here they are quick to ban fireworks on the fourth if it has been dry and hot for too long. Too many trees, and dry grass. But even if they ban them, we could always drive downtown to my friends house and watch the city do its fireworks over the bay. And for free.

A soggy start for the 4th of July. Nice slow steady rain soaking my dry lawn. It's needed but dang on a holiday. Good news should clear br early afternoon and there are predictions of colorful fireworks and loud explosions in the evening.

Every morning I wake up it's been upper 50s lower 60s and I've had to put a thin hoodie on. Wouldn't mind a few of those 100°+ days. Minus humidity of course

Pretty steady rain going on right now, and some of nature's fireworks. Well not really the flashes, but a couple good deep rumbles of thunder. Dont think we'll be lighting any fireworks off this even at dad's.

Oh well, I like the thunder through 😌
