First day of Fall here. It is raining, very windy, and cold.

Sunny and mild up here. Maybe hit 70 for a high. Last night dipped into the 40s. There's frost warnings out to the north of us tonight. Few trees showing signs of their leaves changing.
With the dry summer, fall colors expected to be blah this year. Most leaves will just trump brown and fall off. >:(

We didn't get a "summer" where I am.
While the rest of the northern hemisphere burns, I'm stuck keeping jackets near at all times.

Sounds like a place I will never come visit.  OMG, I just couldn't handle that.  I need shorts at least 6 months of the year.  I'd like to spend more time in shorts per year, but that likely won't happen for about 10 years or so.  Why I'm even still living in Michigan is beyond me - well, I do know, the darn kids have us anchored here.

My sister lives in Michigan!  She's over in the Reed City area.

As for me, I like CT for the four seasons but that is about it.  The taxes here are nuts!

Also, today's weather: Rainy with temps near 80.

Also, I never wanted to be a weather enthusiast, I wanted to be, a LUMBERJACK, jumping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of the US...

Same reason I'm still living in Wisconsin. I dont think I'd ever want to drive more than an hour to get to my dad's house. And then there is the rest of the family. My aunt Amy is just as important to me.

Damn family making me suffer through cold  :emot_laughing:

This morning I thought I had heard thunder, but when is repped outside it felt nice and comfy and no sign of rain. So I went on my run and when I got about half done, the sky opened up and the water just came pouring down. I was absolutely soaked, and when I finally got home... it stopped.  Fucking weather indeed.

Fall finally fell today. Temps in low 50s and windy. Big change from wat seemed to be an endless summer.

Kicked the heat on for the first time since early May. Usually September when we need to have heat on. One less month of a heating bill. :D

We haven't yet turned on the heat but probably will have to in the next couple of weeks. Looks like a costly winter for those who heat with natural gas since gas prices are up almost 50% from last year.   :o

I went outside this morning, and was shocked it was so cold. 45° had to turn around and head back inside to get a hoodie.

Didnt turn my heat on yet, but I used my heated seats on my way to the shop.  Love my heated seats

It's the opposite over here.

I went for  run this morning wearing several layers, and I was sweating profusely when I got home. It's now close to 80.

We have heated and cooled seats, front and back, but I have never used them.   Keep those 40 degrees up north, thank you.  :emot_kiss:  Now, MissB can send some of that 80 degrees our way... 8)

Checked the temp before going outside for a run. 42°. Just seeing the number made me shiver. Like Msslave said Autumn has finally arrived in force.

This next weeks predicted temps wont go above 65°, and tonight will get close to freezing temps at 35°

It was 44 when we went for our morning walk. The sun was out, though, so it felt warmer then 44. Definitely a Fall day.  8)
