66 here this morning and will get up to around 80 later.  It's been a yo-yo summer in the Northeast US thus far.

Highs in the 90s, then highs in the 70s, along with some nasty storms too.

The storms Wednesday night in Wisconsin tore the state a new one. Tony Evers declared a state of emergency because of the damage through the state.

The storms had skimmed right past where I live, so we got some wind and a lot of rain.  Nothing that would cause damage though.  Some places have trees ripped up and hale damage.

Yeah,  a few weeks ago we had some similar storms roll through here.  A tree came down across the lines on my ex's road but, that wasn't nearly as bad as the tree that came down in her back yard.  The trunk literally split in half towards the base.  Granted, the tree was top-heavy due to the top part of it making a 35 degree angle towards the neighbor's yard where there was more sun, but still, this was NOT a small tree.

Not rain...not heat and humidity...no tornado. Weather alerts past few days has been smoke. Canadian wildfires near the Minnesota boarder is keeping Metro area shrouded on smoky haze.

Early storm yesterday, and some pretty strong thunderstorms last night. Lighting hitting close enough to rattle the floor. I absolutely love rolling thunder. Love how it sounds, and it actually turns me on... that's for a different thread.

Today it is just thick outside. Feel like I should be swimming through the air instead of walking.  I swear the dogs are chopping at the hot breeze to get there water.  In case I didn't make it clear, it is very very humid outside. The mosquito must feel like they're in heaven.

It was only 91° today. Summer is trying to creep back in, but this is been an unusually cool and rainy summer season. We have some local readings of more than 8 inches of rain in August, which is totally unheard of in this part of Texas. Everything has been unusually cool and unusually wet. I am enjoying it now, because it can’t last forever.

Weather forecast yesterday morning was no rain for the next 10 days, but by afternoon my phone said rain nearly every day for the next ten days including today.  This morning it said no rain today, sunny skies into tomorrow.  Now I’m watching a thunderstorm rolling in.

I swear I could give better forecasts looking out the window like Les Nessman.

In the passed week. There hadn't been a 24 hour period where it hasn't stormed or at least rained. It is super muggy out, and I cant even walk to my car without being swarmed by mosquitoes.

Update: I just heard over the radio that there was a tornado in black creek which is little over an hour away from me.

Last night we experienced a solid hour of lightning, thunder and torrential rains. The same woke us up this morning. Calling for more of the same later today and tomorrow.  The rain is needed though,

Been hosting thunder for the past hour, and the tornado warning went off twice. Perfect conditions, and somebody called in a funnel cloud. What the hell is wrong with the weather this year?

Another day another emergency alert du jour on the TV.  Sky is dark as night and the wind just blew over my garbage can, and now the rain is starting.  At least I didn’t water the outside plants today.

Shiela is sending her storms down my way.  ;D ;D  Got very dark around 9:30 this morning and we had another round on thunderstorms blow through. More predicted during the night.  I wonder just how many branches trees have as I pick up a dozen or so after every storm....

All part of Global Warming, me thinks.

Not long after posting this my internet went down and stayed down about 4 hours.  It went down exactly at 4:21PM, cuz my TV screen froze with CNN on and the time in the corner.  I got to stare a couple hours at a caption of Ron DeSantis denying he heard the Feds were sending ventilators to Florida hospitals.

On the plus side, I quit early by about an hour on working from home.  On the downside, will have to make that back tomorrow.

Every 4-5 days in a week, it’s raining and out of them, 1-2 days play host to thunderstorms.

Another tornado touched down in Wisconsin yesterday this time near the town of Pulaski. Thankfully it was a small one and did little to no damage. I have family that live just outside there but it did get too close to them.

Going to be cloudy with a very small chance of rain, and then its supposed to be clear skies for the next week.

Though we don’t have those here, guess the weather’s crappy all over the northern hemisphere.

It's getting up to the mid-90s here.  Also, a tornado hit my sister's property in Michigan a couple of days ago.  No major damage, luckily.

Rain everyday for four days.  A very wet monsoon season here in Arizona.  I love it.

Four more days of triple digits. If I wanted to live in hell I'd move to Texas.  :(
